  • Was there a tornado that follows??

  • @TypesEvilAspieEyes No tornado spawned, another storm ended up developing to it's south and cut off the inflow.

  • oh i would have running around like please have mercy !

  • Check out the "Mammatus Clouds-Awesome" video also, if you want to see some amazing looking clouds.

  • ужас

  • That's INCREDIBLE!

  • i would freak if i saw that

  • Best looking cloud formation I have ever seen!! AWESOME!!

  • Thanks, it was crazy looking, but I never know what the next storm will bring. I have seen something unique in several of the storms I have videoed.

  • Nice Vid 5*****

  • Thanks for your comments, this was filmed on my 5th day of storm chasing.

  • that ones a beauty

  • I'm glad I was in the location where I was, it really helped in the view I got on this storm. Was really awesome to be standing outside and looking at this.

  • Dude, if that storm was a person, it would look really P.O.'d. Nice Video.

  • I highly agree with you. It was an awesome sight to see.

  • Wow.. .amazing... really nice storm... thanks for sharing... :)

  • Thanks for the comments, enjoyed your vids that I have so far also.

  • Sorry about the late reply, but this was one wicked looking sky. When you're the texas panhandle in western Oklahoma, the clouds really get low to the ground. Even though this didn't spawn any tornadoes, I had to get it because of the crazy look to this storm.

  • Very nice!

  • Thanks. I know you see storms like this, being that you live in Kansas. That EF4 tornado you got was awesome. I just hope no one was killed in that one. That house was totally gone where it crossed the road. What a way to fully see your first tornado. I know you have one from an earlier year, but you had to take cover instead of getting to view the tornado being that debris was spotted flying or falling from the sky. I had leaves falling from the sky when I was driving in the storm in Kay Co. OK

  • Sadly a lot of people died! It was a Violent Tornado, and killed a lot of people in Oklahoma, and in Missouri! The tornado that you see in my video ended up killing people caught out there on the highway when it came through quickly, and really unexpectedly! This event caught so many off guard including meteorologists , and storm chasers! It was a very sad day for most.

  • I was extremely lucky to be one of only a few chasers that day to get the tornado on film! What makes my capture so neat is I got the formation of the tornado which is a historic and rare event that occurred on that day! I will never forget it!

  • I know which tornado this is now, it is also known as the Picher Oklahoma tornado. It tore the town into non existance practically. I have seen some other vids on this when it was in Oklahoma. So that means you're in SE Kansas. I was in the process of my move to Oklahoma when this event happened. I moved to El Reno OK on May 13 2008. I remember still seeing news on the tornado that hit Picher and the other places in the tornadoes path.

  • @Torn80cj It did destroy the tiny mining town of Picher, OK. I went down there after all of the media and everybody left, to see the destruction for myself! I also took footage.

I went through Picher, OK today on the way to Miami, OK because you have to go through Picher to gt to Miami, OK from where I live.

  • @Torn80cj, That is pretty cool that you was moving to OK during that time.

On May 13, 2008 I was out once again chasing a tornadic storm, and I ended up Near Pittsburg, KS on a storm. It got too dark to film anything decent so I went back home! You will find yourself out this way one day because we do get tornadoes, and incredible supercells at times! Only problem is it is not a good chasing area because there are a lot of trees.

  • I know about them trees. I chased in Eastern OK and got into a really hilly section of the state, so I just ended up going back home. The roads were muddy and I sure didn't want to get stuck with tornadic supercells and crummy visibility. If I can't see it, I don't want to chase it anyway. I love my flat views, feels more comfortable when trying to close in on a tornado for filming. I can deal with the trees, I just don't like hills that feel like mountains. I just saw a video in east Kansas.

  • Awesome cloud! Great capture! 5*

  • Oh yeah, this thing grew quickly too. Was really amazing to see in person.

  • WOW... even for being outflow dominant, there is some beautiful color and incredible constrast on that base!

  • This was one of those southeast movers. It had a meso earlier, but then it be came what you see it doing in this video. I heard hail the size of tennis balls being reported, but I was never in any preciptation during this storm to see the hail. I was driving out from under the storm and when I got to the edge, I hopped out and filmed this. The clouds were so black, so I had to get it on video.

  • Nice man!

  • Thanks, it was awesome to see this thing up close like this.
