So far I've on ly played thr demo of bit trip beat. But from what I've seen here's my list of what I want:

1:Beat

2:Void

3:Core

I've played through all the games, and trust me: Core is much awesomer than it seems before buying it, and, admittedly, during the first half-hour of gameplay. In my opinion: Core = Void > Beat.

The rotating wheels with a break in them around 8:00 remind me of the "ghost wheels" in the Haunted House levels of Super Mario World.

So Id, Ego, and Superego are the levels (not difficulty levels), correct? I ask because I made it to level 2 and set a High Score. When I die I restrat on Level 2. I'd like to turn off the power. Can I restart on Level 2?

if youve been playing the bit.trip games you should know the answer to this.

this game has 5 music layers, ultra is the layer above super, you do good and don't miss any eventually youll hit ultra

Oh. Never mind. I found out. That's cool. I also noticed that in Ultra mode, there are additional sounds in gathering the black dots.
