I've never seen a turbin boat that had exhaust that shot water out of them.

Probably exhaust cooling, those pipes could be red hot otherwise, and anything behind would be toast.

thats turbines for you still have to wonder about about expansion rates and how it could crack/warp from such masive differences in temp. The water would be from the water cooling for the engine and just used the exhaust to dump it back out.

@SjbU2oob That's what happened to the first turbine boats a lot. I believe Turbine Marine was the first to put water jackets on their exhaust pipes, but it could have been Marine Turbine Technologies(Ted McIntyre).

At any rate, insurance is much easier to get on these boats now lol.
