I'm not sure why but I feel elated while listening to this. He isn't a great singer, his banjo playing is very simple, the quality is pretty awful and he is extremely raw. I suppose its just best to appreciate and to not try and justify feelings....

I suppose it's the "in" thing to adore people like this who simply don't know what the hell they're doing and are completely full of themselves. I'm all for being interesting, but this man is obviously trying way too hard to be different, and he fails miserably. He's also intensely rude and treats his non-worshiping audience like small children. How the hell do you people suffer through this nonsense?

Are you serious? Daniel Higgs is one of the most genuine musicians around today, and hes a true talent, i hate to say it but maybe you just dont 'get' it, but even so thats not reason to criticize. Live and let live.
