  • Thank you very much for posting this film, I lived in HK as child in the 60s, moved to the U.K. in 1973, seeing the streets in the film bring back so much memories! How I long to be back in those times! Thanks again.

  • Thank you. The footage brings out precious memories. Some I experience , some I did not. It gave me a fresh perspective on a place I lived for decades. I miss Hong Kong, old and new.

  • this video shows the poor dark side of Hong Kong back in the 60's. There were people living in much better conditions.

  • Just miss the good old Hong Kong....back to 1960-1970s !

  • Michael, harstikke bedankt. Many many thanks. HK was poor but it was part of our history. HK wouldnt be prosperous without the effort of the 50's 60's and 70's. Our new boys should be grateful for the older generations.

  • Thank you very much for sharing Michael. This film recall my childhood memories.

  • Thank you so much for sharing. It's inspiring me to upload some of my Dad's home movies too from that era (in color), with beautiful old Hong Kong as the backdrop. It was quite an expensive hobby. About the cost of a sandwich and a drink for a 10-second scene.

  • @warrensf Please let me know when I can see them. Always glad to view films of that era.

  • As always, a pleasure to watch. Thank you Michael.

  • our good old days

  • Life was so hash and bitter then. Except, the natural environment there ain't much good things unless you are rich.

  • @fgah

Harsh and bitter. All in all it's a practical and accurate statement, not bad.

  • @SeventhSun

If u had live through in that era,u won't give much praise to Hong Kong though rich and famous, had different opinion.

  • very beautiful
