  • is it me or does it look like he was shooting high

  • Hey nutn, Would you recommend the burris speedot or the vortex strike fire? thanks

  • Fuck the safety Nazis! Nutn shoots enough to decide if the risk is worth it. Of course he knew that he would stir up the pot by not wearing his lenses.

  • cool vid.

  • Nutn, you have changed over time. You have changed your eating habits, morphed into a thinner frame exercised more, and not quite as "square"... you are even wearing jeans out in the desert runs! I've enjoyed your channel for 3 years now and still look forward to new vid's. I hope you continue to transition to a more realistic above average dude. Thanks for work.

  • 1:45 is when he stops jaw jacking and starts throwing lead.

  • I have an SU16A and I wear eye protection because after I clean it, a small bit of oil blows out of the piton tube backward toward my face. I wonder if that's normal. I have the first model, does this happen with the newer ones?

  • I wish you could format the videos so I can watch them on my iPod

  • nice control

  • looks like NV. Outskirts of vegas.

  • @goin2hightown

looks like you're WRONG!!!!!! yeah fuck you.............nah it could be vegas i got no idea

  • sweet jesus! this is probably the shortest TNP video EVER, but the shooting doesn't start until like 1:45 and lasts less than a minute! Nutn is a pretty cool guy but so long-winded... c'mon, we wanna see rounds downrange, not talk about the sight/muzzlebrake/earpro/etc... just a thought.. keep bringing us more awesome vids, Nutn, but please PLEASE try to keep 'em short & to the point. :)

  • @silenthunder85 Like to watch shooting? Check out "Hickok45" LOL N~~~~~JOY!

  • @silenthunder85

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I love the indepth reviews Nutn does. Having watched the entire series of vids he did on the SU16c I felt confident enough to order a pair of them without ever having handled them personally. Hearing and seeing every last detail is great when the weapon being discussed isn't instock locally.

  • Keltec => M16/AR15? NO!!!, for a lot of reasons. Don't get me wrong, I like those little plinking guns a lot, have owned them and enjoy them. But when it comes down to betting your life against a piece of metal, I thinks no. PM me if you need more explanation.

  • low light... what is the chest rig you got on?

  • m416

  • i like how your videos go from one to the other and staying in the same series of videos.nice videos. keep it up!

  • KelTec can do nothing wrong in my book!

  • seeing this gun on the wall at my local gun store i never really gave it much thought. then 1 day i handled it and man its pretty sweet. very light and portable

  • Great little popper. Gonna get me one for sure. The kids will have a blast with it. Oh yeah...and screw the batf traitor nazi scum. Let freedom ring baby.

  • Nice vid for entertainment...although PLEASE if you are going to be demonstrating safety (which you did), DO NOT tell the kids watching this that they don't need eye protection for shooting a high-powered weapon, under ANY circumstance (no one is around???). Bad, bad, BAD idea. I don't even need to elaborate...if anyone is stupid enough to disagree with me then you deserve to lose the use of your peepers. Sorry if I sound extreme, but you only get one set of eyes...don't take chances.

  • @OvertOps I agree completely, dude! nutnfancy made a great video but safety first! Ears are almost always the first to go if you don't protect them, but if you can't see, you're REALLY screwed!

  • @hrdknox2000 Do you wear eye protection when you hunt? No. How many guns do you own that you are thinking may blow up in your face? hmmm, maybe you don't need to shoot them. Ears you need to protect because noise is ging to be there for sure. Not in a hunting situation though.

  • @oldmoney74 Well, I wear glasses, so, yes, I'm always wearing some sort of eyewear. But, I have hearing damage from when my bestfriend's dad took us shooting when I was 9 y.o. and didn't give us any hearing protection. So, I'm in my 30s now and I already lost part of my hearing to shooting, I don't want to give up any other senses to the sport. WEAR YOUR EYEWEAR!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @OvertOps I just have to kick your soapbox out from under you. How many times have you driven your car without your seatbelt? Don't tell me never. You endanger yourself, and those around you when you do that. At least he is only 'endangering' HIS eyesight. Not anyone else's. Just saying.

  • @OvertOps ahhh waaaah

  • @OvertOps Relax man. When it comes to shooting eye protection is all user preference. Through my years in the military and just shooting on my own I've never encountered a situation that really convinced me I need a pair of safety glasses when I'm shooting at distant targets. You do sound extreme, in fact you sound rediculous. If you prefer to wear eye protection then great, if not that's fine too, in my humble opinion. All you kids out there just listen to your parents and what they decide.

  • @OvertOps When I was in the Army we were not required to wear eye protection.

  • Any chance you will do a review of the PLR 16 ?

  • Its in UTAH!!!!!! ^_^

  • Best part of this video "I don't need eye protection, as you can see there's nothing around me"

  • I guess Yakima...maybe Spokane. Great series of vid's on this gun. Absolutely outstanding. I was dreading laying down a grand or more on another Bushmaster but not anymore. I'll be searching for this Kel-Tec. Thanks!

  • Be careful WHO you hate in THIS world. You get to Heaven, THEY might be in CHARGE! Peace OUT!

  • DEAR Nutnfancy: My wife says Im not ALLOWED to watch your videos anymore:) She says you always HELP me spend my Money!!! hahahahahaha So Ya'll know, Nutnfancy has helped me buy a shotgun ,a Ruger P95DC 9mm AND a Metro Arms M1911 American Classic 45 Auto(GREAT GUN TOO) PS: See ya when she goes to bed Nutnfancy!!! LOL :)

  • finally got my hands on one today at a local gun shop , unforturnally i didn't have 400+ to walk out the door with it . But being a Former Marine, I found the weapon to be very light weight , easy to place in the shoulder, and very easy to sight in, a must have to add to my "home" defense, good firepower when i need it (god forgive), for the money I'll take the Kel-tec, hands down

  • i was the 100,000th view!

  • its Utah

  • whats the max range of this gun?

  • @Mauser2012 Prolly 500 yards minute of man depending on the optic.

  • @Mauser2012 I would'nt "range" it over 200 maybe 300 yards, keep in mind it's short barrel, but at even 300 yards, you could still "smoke" a target, in the Marine Corps we fired from a "max" of 460 meters, or 500 yards, with a much more capable weapon the M16a1, oops the new guys got the M16a2 HBAR, but for the money Kel-tec has produced a great weapon for the money, safe shooting friend

  • @oldrumer4u if you buy thecharlie model it is a short barrell. thealpha model has a longer barrellon it. Ive shot a M16, M4 and a SU16. I prefer the SU16 because of the 10 inch piston on the bolt that makes it more reliable. Its real similar ot the bolt of a M249.

  • This guy is a dork.

  • YES A GUN THE MW2 or COB BO CANT COMMENT AND SAY "OMG HE IS USING FMJ!!!"

  • I know where he is! Ha ha ha ha ha. At least I think I can get it down to 30sq miles

  • cost:?

  • @studmuffin234able 500-600

  • Ah, so, this can accept 30 round STANAGs?

  • @itak365 any AR or M-16/m-4 magazine.

  • I am gonna say this now...I like this guy. Haha

  • Comment removed

  • I was totally misinformed about Kel Tec firearms until nutnfancy.

Now I can't get enough of them, with one recent design exception that I can't stomach.

I can not recommend them enough.

Even what I used to think was ugly about them has grown on me, because they are 100% designed around fulfilling the need they were intended for.

  • i really wish that kel tec sold their gear in canada. i want an su 16 as it looks like more bang for your buck than a design modified ar style rifle... that and ive heard good things about kel tec and that rifle just looks so ugly its almost endearing haha

  • I bought one based on this mans eval. Its cost effective but well built ,very reliable and will shoot either the remington.223 or 5.56 and is extremly light weight should you use it as a pack rifle. It as light or lighter than a colt The only down side is the trigger pull is heavy and when you couple that with the light weight its hard to shoot accuratly at long range. Some trigger work would help this gun .The gas system is AK,with the bolt being AR. Clean and reliable.

  • might as well be automatic :P

  • Every time I see a Kel-Tec or get to shoot one, they seem to impress me more and more. I recently purchased an AR, I am beginning to wish I got one of these.

  • @jetdr

There are always going to be people who talk bad about companies that offer products at cheaper prices. Kel-Tec is a company that you should experience first hand rather than listening to the rumors. They are good people who make good products.

  • @mememe123xyz very true, I have a kel-tec 9mm CCW pistol. I love it. very inexpensive but not lacking in build quality. probably one of the best values out there.

  • @mememe123xyz Its just like Glocks. Glocks were talked bad about for years and now they set the standard for which all hand guns are judged.

  • Dude, you have a badass channel. Try bringing that chicken wing in tight to your body for the standing

  • great reviews, good job , thanks

  • northern arizona

  • hahaha yea don't tell us where you are we are going to get you and your autograph lol just kidding

  • I LOVE THE SMELL OF REM_OIL IN THE MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is one Kick ass weapon ,Im of the group that WANT an AR 15 but the Bucks are tight. I think THIS may be the way to go........."CHARLIE" This old SCOUTS OUT!!! 19~Delta

  • my response was really about the Mini14 vs 90's version plus recent improvements to the NRA 14, I carried over to the other videos of yours that had more action, but my mini experiance is about the same as yours.Started with the mini in the late 80's & have hade one all the since. I have been saying to myself for years after burning my face on the barrel of my mini after a short burst ,that these barrels are way off for this rifle. My Colt AR could fire off like a Ruger 1022 & handel the heat.

  • eye protection is to prevent frag from your flash suppressor even if theres nothing around... very silly boy!

  • i want to stick my dick in that rifel!. or maybe i want it to stick its dick in me!...

  • @delakush666 nice beerfest reference

  • i always hear that moneys tight---i have that same BS problem i can't afford too be strapp with my safety and family and how the world is and how the economy is well i might as well stick with my BOW and ARROW...........

  • do they have gas piston kits for the SU 16?

  • @MolonLabe84 The Su-16 already uses a piston system not di.

  • I held one of the SU-16B and I fell in love instantly. I can't wait to buy one. 2 extra mags in the stock and a built in bipod. Sweet little folding gun.

  • love it I want one

  • Pretty tight, but i'm pretty sure not a single round hit the target...

  • It's semi-auto only, that much more impressive accuracy wise.

  • for being on automatic mode, that thing was insanely accurate.

  • lol i hate to burst you bubble, but that firearm is not fully automatic. its strictley semi-auto. the shooter is just trained well and can shoot quickly

  • oh but still insanely accurate

  • o ya nutn is a great shot, i just wanted to tell you so that if you bought the weapon or something you wouldnt expect it to be full-auto and get disapointed

  • I wish i could buy that... Too bad unless it has a rifle grip and not a pistol grip, I cant buy it in california... :/

    Thanks though :D

  • wait im pretty sure it does have a rifle grip.look at nutns review on it.

  • @x7Deucex

The SU 16 CA is the California legal version... check it out Deucex.

  • @BlunderingThundering They are all CA legal as long as the mag is 10 rds or less. They do not have a pistol grip and therefore they are not "assault rifles". The SOCOM II .308 is another great way around this confusing law...though much more expensive :(

  • @ktlhandymanservices all exept the c model becase it can be fired in the folded pos. ca rules suck ass!

  • @x7Deucex: You could buy either in CA. The pistol grip would require you to have a fixed mag or a bullet button installed. The standard issue rifle stock means you are golden for detachable 10 rd mags.

  • ha...fancy-nut

  • Didd he hit the barrel he was shootin at?

  • I fuckin' love the way you say "I'm gonna go rapid fire, by the way... Rock & Roll."

  • lets rock n roll

  • nutnfancy what chest rig are you wearing please tell me

  • I'd wear eye protection if I had a buddy firing on my left side....but in the middle of nowhere...alone...come on people. You might as well buy meteor insurance as well.

  • Have you never heard of a receiver or a barrel exploding from over pressure? Revolvers have been known to have the cylinder rupture from too much pressure.. Like it or not, when you use a a gun you're playing with explosives. And safety glasses are a good idea. But if you think you're too "cool" for shooting glasses, don't feel bad or blame anyone but yourself if you lose your eyesight.

  • freakin awesome!

  • Can you still fire it when the stock is folded?

  • Yes, the C model is unique in the Su-16 lineup for that reason.

  • Thanks, I figured that out shortly after writing this, haha.

I also found out they have a Delta model with the same folding stock, If I'm not mistaken.

  • Yup, and I believe it has a shorter barrel (so it's an SBR) and the compact for-end. Nutnfancy also does an incredible review of the Su-16c...you probably found that though.

  • wooo! rock on brotha!

  • Joshua Tree?

I have 2 of these a B and C model nice gun, CA legal AR15 mags fit it so its easy to get high cap mags if one travels to AZ or UT frequently like I do

    definitely worth the 6 bills

  • That's some fast shootin' there, chief.

  • nice video Nutnfancy....man your really making me wanna pick one up lol

    Rock on Nutn !

and let the haters hate...means your doing something right if people are talking crap ;]

  • wonder if he knows what a wylde chamber is

  • he does know that its a common misconception that the 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem are NOT the same due to a few factors such as throat and charge right?

  • Yes he does, and you do know about double negatives right? The misconception is that they ARE the same. You can use .223 in a 5.56 chambered rifle but not vice versa.

  • admitted, my grammatical error. it was late when i posted sorry :) no hard feelings I just know a lot of people, who know a fair bit about firearms but still think that 5.56 and .223 are the same.

  • hey nutnfancy, does the CA version have a replaceable buttstock? i'm not really digging the basic one, i was thinking of an AR type buttstock. is it possible to replace it?

  • He's a strange little man, but i like that carbine.

  • was nuntfancy ever in the millitary

  • its arizona......

  • Definately !

  • Not to flame, but how do you know he doesn't own that land? This dude's videos are fairly popular, if he says on a video (viewed by 57,604 people so far)where he is, he's going to get flodded with people who want to shoot/hang out/talk whatever. Wouldn't that be annoying?

  • What he means is that he's not gonna tell where..lol -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Sorry, but I seriously don't have the foggiest idea.. :( -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Why do you answer for him. Thats not right!

  • @nutnfancy he' lost ...LOL!

  • @onetaothree Calm down and watch the Vid!Dumbass

  • @onetaothree find your own secret place. don't be jealous.

  • that is pretty accurate for rapid fire wow. nice

  • There didn't used to be an eye protection requirement but there is now.

Since deploying to OIF III I've made using eye protection while shooting a habit.

  • Finishing my post...with the 45 I wasnt shooting..standing on firing line..got lax and removed them...the 06 and 9mm incidents were both just "I'll do this quick" and should NOT have. The iraq deal was the glasses fogged from my profuse "I'm getting shot at" sweat...and I removed them..ooppss..that one cost me....wear them....always.

  • BlueJames is right.Same in USMC.Without glasses had 45acp richocet hit me in eye. Movin slow but OUCH!! req'd med treat. Bad 9mm round blew hot sh*t out the back of XDM.req med attn. 30'06 brass from Garand to eye. And last not a gun but never the less...mortar round command detonated by badguys on ASR SanteFe in Mosul iraq took out left eye:( saved barely but vision sucks and so does depth perception...so just wear the GD glasses. Or dont...I dont care its your vision.

  • I saw some uneducated comments below about Islam. I'm not here to argue mainly because I don't know who you are and don't care. But to be honest I enjoy Nutnfancy's videos, very educating and he does seem like an honest guy. I'm an Afghan a Muslim and of course an American. Born in Afghanistan and raised in the U.S. Love this country and would die fight to defend it. Yeah, sometimes I disagree with the government, doesn't everybody! Anyway, good video, ROCK ON!

  • hey i was wonder if the tip of the su-16c is threaded so easier to add or remove a flash suppressor

  • Yeah, you don't need eye-pro until a hot piece of brass lands on your eye. Way to give people bad advice.

  • the su 16c has a shell deflector

  • Doesn't make a difference. A lot of rifles have shell deflectors and brass can still hit you in the eye. Safety first!

  • i dont where eye pro. son and i never had brass ever hit me ...and i shoot all the time .... same whith all my buddys they dont where eye pro ethir ....... its not needed

  • That's exactly what I expect to hear from an amature civillian shooter. Ever wonder why the military requires servicemembers to wear eyepro? You'll change your tune after a hot piece of brass sears your cornea. Good luck trying drive, shoot or make love to your boyfriend with only 1 good eye.

  • dude u are smoking crack and military dont make u wear eyo pro son

  • I'm pretty damn sure I remember being required to wear eye pro and telling my soldiers the same thing. If you put down your daddy's shotgun and put on a uniform you'll be told to put on your wileys or oakleys while shooting.

  • ok i hope to go in some time soon and idk they probley do where okleys in training but i dont see the need 4 eye pro that much unless your gun kabooms or somthing

  • Well, when you do go in you'll find that the Army uses AR 670-1 to enfore the use of eye pro at all times while handling firearms. This is especially enforced in combat, where a single tiny piece of fragmentation or hot piece of brass can leave you blind. Be smart kid, get some eyepro and wear it while you are shooting!!

  • @BlueJames19 Woohoo safety sally!

  • great video and yes this weapon is good i have one .thanks ...................nutnfancy have the best videos......

  • Nutnfancy, thank you for a guns & ammo type review. Please remember to teach us dummy head's to were safety glasses for the one in three thousand breach fires . OH and to keep our left thumb off a smoking hot barrel ( I saw and heard and felt your ouch) Gloves work wonders.

  • Looking like a very good compact rifle.

    Thumbs Up nutnfancy

  • No not kidding a mac barrel (7.62 X 39) starts smoking after 50 rounds as fast as you can pull the trigger. It is just as accurate at 100 meters and push's a 128 grain bullet a woping 1580 FPS. Still I wouldn't shoot an attacking bear with it. For that one need's the 308 standard NATO round in a 10 round clip just to be sure of morbid. 1 round would stop a dangerous bear the other 9 would be morbid.

  • You are kidding, right?

  • muntaser,

I just wanted to say, in Nutnfancy's defense, I never got any anti Muslim input/vibe from him, implied, or otherwise.

I don't even know where that comes from brother.

I think he is reviewing guns for the most part, and probably would be the first to help you defend your freedoms.

look at the big picture, I think you'll change your opinion of him if you do.

He is a home grown, honest type of guy, from every single thing I've seen so far.

    Just my two cents.

  • JimCarrol,

Bro... I am talking about the people who write distasteful comments here. Nutnfancy is an amazing person. I love his reviews and have probably seen all of his firearms videos. Hats off to him, he is cool. I am talking about the self-styled .

Now when I read my previous comments, it does seem like I am talkinb about Nuthfancy. Well, I apologize :-D

BTW, just to share with you. My home defense gun is a CZ-P07 Duty, and I carry a Kimber Ultra Carr II with Crimson Trace grips. TC

  • Hi muntaser and Jim: I saw munt's comment yesterday and took it the same way at first. Then it dawned on me that he was talking about the general comments and not what Nutn said..carry on. :)

And Jim, thanks for having Nutn's back. You rock.

    --Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • I am a Muslim and I love this country. Is it too hard for you to not pollute every single video with Anti-Islamic comments? It looks quite childish.

I love nutnfancy videos and it would be nice if for a change we could only discuss the videos and the guns in them. I get it, you hate Islam, all Muslims are womanizers, all Muslims hate America, and all Muslims are extremist terrorists. Can we please move on now? There are more than enough Anti-Islam videos... Post your comments there.

  • survival on a budget nothin beats the keltec su-16 unless ruger would make the mini-14 to accept AR mags.

  • TRUTH

  • How do you "fight" a religion? Ban it? That would only make the terrorists MORE violent. (And more directed towards us, mind you.)

The best course of action would be to stop the terrorism and oppressive governments, the latter of which being a humanitarian effort of which would cost us greatly at no benefit to us directly. Also, it may spark a war.

So, the best course of action would be what we're doing now- counter terrorism. We're not ready to take care of other countries yet.

  • I could say the same thing about Judaism. The Old Testament includes that G-d requires those who break any of the ten commandments (particularly adultery) are to be stoned. However, that is not often practiced anymore. Probably because Jews didn't like getting stoned to death, or stoning their fellow man.

Eventually, their society will become less violent and more tolerant of other people- just like it did for the Christians and Jews.

  • Muslim people are not scum- extremists are.

  • Holy shit. They really do not trust their citizens. D:

  • wtf nutn yeah right you're not in the desert thats probably your back yard luzr.

I kid, I kid. Man the Su-16 has a nice charm to it

  • like i said before you the best

  • i cn see bullets go by cause of the slow in camera.....

  • Guh. Do want. Maybe I'll use home defense as an excuse to buy this sweet peice of machinery.

  • a bit long range for home defense... mossberg 500 series shotgun or a pistol might be better.... sounds like a good excuse for the old lady though !

  • People label guns as evil because they assume that only violent sociopaths own weapons. If someone endangers my family, friends, even innocent people I don't know, I have a bias for action that's been instilled into myself as a member of the military and decent person. Never assume that the government or civil authorities will be there to protect you. You've called 911 on your phone- now what? What do you do until the police show up? Don't blame guns for evil, blame people.

  • Sacartwelo11, a firearm is nothing more than a tool. This morning, millions of American gun owners woke up and didn't hurt anyone. When idiot who is pissed off at the world kills someone, the left leaning press makes it seem like the gun made him/her do it. It doesn't work that way. A criminal will get a weapon no matter what.

  • ture that! if someone was killed with a butterknife, would we limit access to kitchen cutlery?

  • Comment removed

  • I've been thinkn about gettn one of those. Its cool that it takes standard M16mags. cheaper than Ar15. Yeah he sounds goofy but he has valid points about that rifle.

  • I like the light weight. Once you go through drills with it, you get used to it and then AR-15 seems so heavy. On the downside, there are no front rails, you need to order a forend from Kel-Tec or install a small flashlight rail with screws. Definitely not as customizable as AR-15.

  • haha agreed.

  • this guy is a total stud. i'll bet he can get any woman he wants where he lives!

  • how much did he pay u
