On top of that, even if one were to accept your premise, then any church of any denomination that is fine with gays and allowed them to marry would have to be recognized regardless of the protests of the other churches or government.

@Chuichupachichi Actually you got it wrong in a few ways. The separation of the state and church means that it never should've been the exclusive domain of churches, Christian or otherwise. Unless the government chooses to not recognize marriage as a matter of law. On top of that, even if one were to accept your premise, then any church of any denomination that is fine with gays and allowed them to marry would have to be recognized regardless of the protests of the other churches or government.

@Chuichupachichi Actually until the 12th century marriage was done outside of churches because it involved sex. Now that marriage can be done out side of churches like by judges, captains, etc... atheist can now marry. Hence no reason NOT to allow gays to marry. Even my church allows gay marriage, no I"m not an atheist.
What is your problem with the military? Not all ppl in the Military are right wing, male, macho, etc... One of my best friend is a nurse in the airforce.

You forget, outside and inside the group you call "gays" there are just people who want the same options as everyone else.
