  • God this band and a handful of others were a god send to us teens in the mid 80's who had to put up with the shite that was around then.

Todays "pop" music is pretty much like it was then absolutely dire and i can't see any bands around that can even compare to The Alarm.

  • yes a great band up the welsh boys

  • great band followed 'em on tour everywhere, met 'em, great blokes , brilliant gigs, saw 'em support the jam in deeside when they were seventeen , saw 'em support u2 in cardiff - they blew u2 off stage, more people there to see the alarm than u2 ,used to bump into mike all the time in Rhyl - top bloke

    LONG LIVE THE ALARM

  • The greatest live band in the world, ladies and gentlemen.

  • Macgruber!!!

  • Give the man a guitar for fucks sake. Dancin was not one of mikes strong points unlike his hair of course.

  • I agree,give the man a fucking guitar.

  • mr sam billabong! r any relation to the mighty moowamba billabong from wingtang nangtang?

  • lol Can't help but agree with those sentiments.

  • They missed out the middle part, about the Mersey lights. It didn't appear to have been edited, so did the BBC idiots make them shorten it? Bloody philistines.

  • Fucking fat BBC bastards...

  • your close it was recorded december 85.i was at the hammersmith concert where the live video was recorded for spirit.one of the best nights of my life

  • Sorry to be so pedantic but this was actually broadcast in the autumn of 1985. That I remember it so well just demonstrates what a profound effect this performance had on me.

  • It still sounds so good. Great to remember just amazing they were ten and are now :)

  • what a song seen the alarm live about ten times.best band ive ever seen live

  • still rocks...Thanks for sharing!!

  • What passion, these guys just rock. I love this song and remember playin' it at my old 80's small midwestern radio gig.
