How durable are those bricks, compared to regular bricks? Do they dry really solid?

Engineering students actually getting their hands dirty?? Will wonders never cease! Once upon a time, engineers actually got greasy and knuckles busted learning about the machines they needed to be familiar with, and even did some of their own part machining. 

Good to see these guys breaking the mold!
