Yeah, agiels work on everybody except the Pristinely Ungifted One(Jennsen). Even Darken Rahl can be hurt by it. (But he can endure it really well) Richard also can be hurt by it. In fact, in 'Denna'(episode) he was killed by one, and brought back by the breath of life.

If the series followed the books, in theory Cara should be in the episode "Denna"...and there's an unidentified Mord'Sith (when Denna was away) in that ep whom we see only from the back. as Constance is flogging Richard. Otherwise, Cara's name is mentioned by Darken Rahl at the end of the ep before this, and this is her first appearance.

Also, excpet under Con Dar, Kahlan can confess only one person in a several-minute period. She might confess one and *maybe* take a few others down, but in the end she'd be overwhelmed and killed.

Kahlan can lower the numbers. MordSith are no match against a Confessor. All Kahlan has to do is touch them.

I'm guessing someone wasn't paying attention to when Kahlan and Richard were screaming of pain from its touch. Richard nearly lost his mind being tortured by it. Zed and Shota are very powerful, enough to move the moon and mountains. Even they couldn't withstand its power. Mord syth are train to embrace the pain, because ob being tortured since they were childeren.
