  • Shredder, Fritz, Crafty are not really that strong chess programs any more. Try Houdini or Rybka, or even HIARCS. These program will annihilate almost any human player most of the time and not even on ultra fast hardware (average 4 core PC will do and in case of HIARCS even a phone will do).

  • Computers are going to be the end of chess, now that a fewGM's are being accused of cheating during a match, it just sets an eerie atmosphere.

  • hasn't he got about 2,000 dvds out?

  • @pyschicgrandmaster1 LOL I think they are 113. Why? Because he is sharing with us his chess knowledge and you know ... it takes time !

  • Teaching chess when CHESS is your first language ... is the best combination, my great chessmasters !

  • @Curi0usOne yeah i am agreed with you but there is a person that posted here than he can't understand that way of teaching chess, chess is a universal language or course it's.. thank you for your post :)

  • What's this GM's name?

  • @NecrorceN his name is roman dzindzichashvili

  • thank you everyone i really appreciate you like this video vote please if you like it :)

  • I have got most of his DVD's, the presentation is terrible, mainly due to his poor command of English, making it almost impossible to learn from him.

  • @dashwood123 he's one of the best GM of the world if you didn't know that, if you can't understand or don't get it what he's talking about i can recommend you to drink some glutamine might that can help you a lot to cash and keep everything he's saying.

  • @MrTheking350

Clearly English is not your first language, you sound like Roman. I know Roman is a fantastic chess player, without question. But trying to teach chess in English when it is not your first language, that is not a good combination.

  • @dashwood123 well that would be the same if you go to spain or israel and try to give a class in their language that won't be a good combination too, and even if you go to brasil and try to speak their language with your American accent that is not a good combination right? so that mean than better you have stay in united states and don't try to grow up as person Becuase you won't speak right other language. that for me is a poor mind failed.

  • @dashwood123 you sound like the ghetto stupid American racist that think than all the world is yours. if you don't like these videos just don't come to my channel and make me a favor please. but i don't like the type of person as you. but i'd really like to see you giving a class or teaching on other country with a different language to make me laugh a bit.

  • @MrTheking350

This partly proves my point, you do not fully understand me. Even though I paid Roman a compliment, you think it was an insult. English is a very subtle language and many foreigners who think they can speak English frequently misunderstand the actual meaning of a sentence. I would no doubt have the same difficulty trying to speak Russian.

  • @dashwood123 You said that he has a terrible presentation and his lessons in english are very bad because of that. I wouldn't consider it a compliment. Surely, he makes some mistakes, but as long as the whole thing is understandable (and it is) - it's fine for me.

  • @dashwood123 UNLESS he's Trying to speak other language That is not his, my question is how can you speak Many language? just english? becuase you know may be i do not speak english and The Greater i do not care but i know MOST of the people from the united states know just speak their single language, They are not like europe People That Most Of Them UNLESS speak 2 or 4 or 5 Different language, do not try to make other people less wing, When They can be better than you and

  • @MrTheking350 know more than you actually do.

  • @MrTheking350 he's not one of the best gms in the world.

  • @pyschicgrandmaster1 Roman Yakovlevich Dzindzichashvili ... Coach of World Champion Garry Kasparov ... among his students are 3-time US Chess Champion, GM Gata Kamsky, and GM Eugene Perelshteyn.

I'm sure he is good enough for me !

  • @Curi0usOne i'm sure he is. however I was only responding to the other guy who said he was one of the best gms in the world, his current ranking of 479th in the world would rather suggest he isn't.

  • @pyschicgrandmaster1 Maybe. Or maybe not, if you want a coach. But it's only my opinion. For me, no problem.

  • what are does things on your wall?

i think i recognize them could you please tell us what they are? :)

  • For a 40 moves chess game there are about 2,5x10^116 (250.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.

000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 - about 250.000 billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions) possible moves.

Deep Blue (the computer who beated Garry Kasparov) calculated 200.000.000 possibilities per second.

  • Thanks so much for this!

I could listen to your wisdom for hours and it the advancement of chess AI is incredibly interesting.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this upload.

  • Thank you for taking the time to make this video!

  • My engine(Houdini 15) sometimes play 1.e4,e5 2.Nf3,Nc6 3.Be2(van der Wiel variation),not often played, but in most variations he gives an evaluation +0.20 to +0.30.when he first played it against me ,l was shocked.Nowadays engines are simply 2 strong for any grandmaster.

  • what?? computers dont take porn breaks??

  • What software and/or program was used to capture the pieces moving from the board to the computer screen?

  • Great lecture. I guess Kasparov can't complain that computers can't make human looking moves anymore.

  • very informative. I play ay chess.com and used stonewall formation when white.it's like colle system solid and reliable. controlling e5 but weak on e4 sq...the immediate pawn push on e4 is decisive freeing black sq. bishop...thank you.. spoiler
