My Book of Shadows is hardly even started, but i have a pretty good idea of what it looks like. I cant get the stuff to make it yet though, so im hoping i can get them soon :)

my book of shadows is hand made real leather with the pentagram dyed in and the pages are hand made. i sealed it with salt and blessed it to. I love your book it is so big!
It's really cool that you've made your own BOS. Though did you have to use any magical infusion or purification spells on it before putting it to use?
My BoS is an old 1" exploratory binder from school. Its not very pretty, but I love it. I would have something more appropriate, but my parents have no idea of my choices and I have absolutely no privacy. I've never done magick, but my faith is strong and I study my heart out. I know everything an experienced witch knows, and I'm proud to be wiccan!
wow it's so nice...I like the "leather" taking it from the plain binder look. great job cutting out the negative...it really makes it look engraved or burned in!!!
@hipretty Thank You. No I wanted to put them in plastic sleeves, but they took up too much room and I would have had to remove pages to make them all fit.
@arisenhard I think you did a great job. I actually have a Large ring 3 ring binder also, that I got for my BOS...but then I put off making it. I always thought i wouldn't like how the rings looked. But I am so impressed with yours the rings are irrelevant! PLUS...I really admire your organizational skills. My Mom is also a "Strict Virgo" I hear ya! :-)

@thecosmiced You can make your own personal book which can include info on the saints and their correspondances, archangels, Mother Mary and anything that reflects your current and expanding beliefs. My book is a little eastern beliefs and alot of pagan info on cycles of the moon, flowers/crystals that heal and lots of info on angels and using colours. If you work with what feels comfortable, than you are not going against anything because you are doing what resonates with you personally.
@thecosmiced in the bible they say magic is the devil's work. but there are people who call themselves christian witches. google that term and you'll learn more.
@relussier No? have you ever attended catholic mass? There's a high magic ritual if i've ever seen one! There is no difference except this is done in public to the Gods THEY believe in.

I always toyed with the idea of using a binder for a BOS but thought it would look tacky. You've proved me wrong, yours is beautiful.
