Unless you're these guys who chase the thing and know what you're doing, you're sitting at home with the t.v on listening weather to run in the basement or not. Its not fun, and here in southern Canada, we get about 1 a year. Nothing has ever hit our area hard, but there is always the risk, and its scary. You're lucky you don't get tornados

We RARELY get earthquakes on the East Coast, thankfully LOL:) Of course San Diego is so close to the Ocean, if there was ever a Tsunami you'd have to run like hell to higher ground. @bestwaffleg im not the one who predicted it. The predictions started in 1991 and they predicted the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak and the May 22, 2011 tornado outbreak and EF-5 tornado in Joplin, Missouri. They are getting the warning out because they dont want any more people dying because their cities got leveled by a massive tornado.
For people living in Southern Michigan, Northeastern Illinois, Northern Indiana and Ohio, and Southwestern Ontario, be prepared for the worst.
