This video is epic dude thank you. I recently discovered the shodanAPI which I can write a python script that will track the location of a MAC address on google maps. (thats why I searched for this) This video just confirms my theory. Im thinking of starting a database of police car mac addresses specifically for this purpose.
@Boococky540 i live near a police station so it didnt take me long at all to realize that when i use vistumbler no mods are needed. I can see the five o's roll by....theyre always named 345, or 397, 324....always 3 digi's in the 300's.....they all have the same equipment manufacturers too......i think you could make a killing off an android or wifi app that really shows police cars in real time on GPS ....trapstar has the idea but its lame compared to full blown real time radar
i wonder if there is an easier way to do this. maybe just create an iphone app where you can enter the ssid's. then, you turn the app to "on," and every time you drive by a patrol car, it sends your gps coordinates to a website. the website then transmits all the incoming data back out to everyone. so, if you have enough people with the app on, you could basically have an updated map of the location of all the patrol cars in your area, or even the whole country.
Also I would be able to help collect ID's for you. I can easily pick up the majority of the ones in texas, ie austin texas, del rio, san antonio. lemme know. please pm me theres a big need for this type of technology down south man.
if u ever get that working lemme know and ill pay you if you can show me how to set it up. an example would be like I can have my laptop in my car and be able to tell approximately how close a police vehicle is. I'll pay 50 bucks.
