Real Madrid has an insane line up of good players. This causes the coach to bench people who would normally be starters in other teams. If people notice he doesn't really have a set team of starters he always switches off. So if kaka doesn't get playing time it doesn't mean he sucks. He just has to take advantage of the playing time he gets.

When Özil came it was no question who would start. But this autumn he has actually been close to his top form, the problem is he can play 2 games and feel pain in his knee again and have to sit out the next 3-4. Belive me if he would be at this level again, Real Madrid would play him.

If you look at his runs and dribbles they are really all about speed. He does not have the ball control of a Zico or a Ronaldinho. He is all about speed. There are few moments when you stop and say Wow as with Cruyff, Best, Messi and even at a lower level Cristiano or Ibra. Kaka is a very very good player. Not a great one.

He was bought as the master who woud direct in the way Zidane did but the reality is he wasn't as good as his Ballon d'or suggested. Real Madrid has an insane line up of good players. This causes the coach to bench people who would normally be starters in other teams. If people notice he doesn't really have a set team of starters he always switches off. So if kaka doesn't get playing time it doesn't mean he sucks. He just has to take advantage of the playing time he gets.

@b16aboosted What? He has been injured for about 50 - 60% of the time he has been there. He was good the first season but after the injury he never became the same player. It's a shame. When Özil came it was no question who would start. But this autumn he has actually been close to his top form, the problem is he can play 2 games and feel pain in his knee again and have to sit out the next 3-4. Belive me if he would be at this level again, Real Madrid would play him.

If you look at his runs and dribbles they are really all about speed. He does not have the ball control of a Zico or a Ronaldinho. He is all about speed. There are few moments when you stop and say Wow as with Cruyff, Best, Messi and even at a lower level Cristiano or Ibra. Kaka is a very very good player. Not a great one.

He was bought as the master who woud direct in the way Zidane did but the reality is he wasn't as good as his Ballon d'or suggested. That said I agree he was a superb player 4 to 6 yrs ago and it is a shame to see him reduced to being a reserve team player benched for the big games. he played the unimportant game in Amsterdam but almost certainly won't be starting on Saturday.
