  • @tuugfo you sound unintelligent

  • Aha well I'm not sure how this makes me a "freaking idiot" but the car sounds like shit, personaly I think all vipers do. For a V10 to me they sound like a 6 banger. And i have a 91 mustang GT 5.0, Paxton superchager running a 6 pound pully with some other goodies, and this year I bought a 08 GT500 with some add ons nothing major. GT 500 has 6000 kms and the 91 has 67000. This must be the reason why I'm a pussy.

  • @chris91gt I'll admit, it doesn't sound good at idle. But like most exotic cars, these sounds bad ass when you see its taillights in front of you.

  • @chris91gt Wtf? Stock it sounds like a 6 cylinder, cats only it sound like a beast. I think you're horribly misinformed

  • Hey Brian, where loving the car she just turned 22,600 miles last weekend with a trip to Va Beach. Thanks man.

  • GAY

  • @chris91gt Your a freaking idiot, last post for this vid was a year ago and you come with this "Gay" crap. What the fuck do you drive puusy?

  • @chris91gt better then a mustang

  • One of my best friends has that car. Silver, just like this.

  • Vipers sound like a tractor or a diesel. So do Dodge's 4 cylinders. Except for the new srt-4 in the calibers which sounds more like a honda.

  • Actually SRT4 sounds more like an Evo or GSX than a honda do to the FI.

  • forced induction doesn't effect the sound unless you can actually hear the turbo. Either way it doesn't sound anything like an EVO or a Honda. Not the NSRT, the CSRT sounds like an evo though, actually it sounds identical to the old cobalt ss/scs.

  • It does buddy. FI= Lower comp. ratio, retard timing, and more air being crammed into the eng. If you have a older car retard the the time manually on the DIS. and other than a loss of power you notice a deeper sound, add more air and lower the compression aside from the power aspect there is a noticeably deeper tone. Look up an N/A honda and F/I honda(Since on the subject of 4 bangers) Hence the reason you step up to a 3" exhaust from 2.25 or 2.5(Just example) and its louder but much deeper.

  • You do know the timing is constanly varied? You're only going to have less timing at WOT so it's not going to effect sound, besides it wouldn't effect sound anyways. You only have more air crammed in there at WOT to so that doesn't effect sound either. Nor does a lower compression ratio.

  • I don't think you understand what I am saying. Yes timing does vary, BUT whenever you add F/I to your car your timing MUST be retarded. How much is the variable but it HAS TO BE retarded. Second timing is retarded throughout the entire RPM Band unless you deal with Variable timing(i.e. VTEC, MIVEC ect...) then yes at WOT it varies and it doesn't go down son. Third there is more air crammed into the engine even at idle hence the reason you LOWER compression.

  • Hahah you have got to be kidding me. First of all VTEC and MIVEC are variable VALVE timing, it has nothing to do with ignition timing aka ignition advance. Second of all you're wrong, there is not more air crammed into the cylinders at idle, hahaha.

  • no shit son. whatever you say you are all knowing

  • @MoPar7055 actually your both right you need to retard the timing for the forced induction and you need to lower the compression but because of bleed off valves your really not forcing much more air at idle but when boost kicks in your adding tons more pressure and most normal engines cant handle more than a 12 or 13 to 1 actual compression ratio. plus any higher than that you would need something more than premium pump gas..so if your running more than 8-10 psi you probably need to lower CR

  • It sounds like a tractor when idling but damn does she come to life with a little throttle!

  • hacelere mas duro muchacho q eso no se daña

  • this car is the reason i will buy it. sound good and have a great model.

  • All engines sound unique and i enjoy the different sounds of different engine cylinder configurations, mostly because each has its own distinct sound, be it a V8, V12 whatever. This V10 is sweet, vipers rule.

  • I prefer v8

  • I like them all, But I love these V10s, Right now im working on putting one in my '90 Daytona! Which is what I think they should have come with. or at least a v8... but now FWD, with a puny 4 banger. what a crock.

  • nice car

  • sounds like two 5 cylinder engines :(

  • When it ain't reving up, it sounds like an old diesel engine.

  • Sounds like a diesel.

  • hahahahahaha that is ridiculous

  • oh so sexy

  • *cream*
