I completely agree that every card can find synergy with another card b/c there are so many cards now. However just looking at Aitsu from a pure card standpoint he looks terrible lol. But then again there is a new dragon card that I believe is 7/8 vanilla with 0/0 stats but is a very legit weapon.

Gate Guardian is a great card it's just a bitch to get like any real power ful monster. I mean try getting 3 blue eyes and then get blue eyes ultimate dragon to the field. Tough monsters the better you need to be in getting from your deck.

I don't understand why you think some of the cards here are useless. For example, if you don't have good cards in your hand, pot of generosity is exactly what you need.

Broken bamboo can be useful : some monsters have an effect that says they gain xx atk ou def for each card they are equipped with.

samsara lotus used with prime material dragon could grant a 1000 point lp bonus each standby phase, but I havent the slightest clue as to the purpose of broken bamboo sword. is it needed to get th gold bamboo sword? And burning algae with a card that reverses the effect of cards that decrease/increase a players lp. Fusionist i'd probably just use to free up a monster card zone. Shape snatch, slot machine, and aitsu, they're over rated for there strength, but there may be things workable there.

@MrFuckyouscientology When Burning Algae is mixed with Bad Reaction to Simochi, your opponent loses 1000 LP instead of gaining. As for Aitsu, when equipped with its Union monster Koitsu, it gains 3000 ATK and can inflict damage when fighting DEF position monsters, but Koitsu requires 2 tributes.

Broken Bamboo Sword: Good for Maha Vailo, Ben Kai and necessary for Golden Bamboo Sword. Pot of Generosity: Good to avoid decking out. Especially if you only need 1 more turn to win for sure. Burning Algae and Samsara Lotus look useless, unless you can find a way to make them work to your advantage. They have uses. Broken Bamboo Sword is required for Golden Bamboo Sword, and there are a few monsters that power themselves up when equipped with any card. Aitsu can be special summoned in a number of ways and must be used with Koitsu which can also be summoned in a number of ways. The rest seem pretty useless though.

First of all burning algae is not a bad card there are cards to make it useful also gate guardian is good you just have to sacrifice the three monsters it says to also broken bamboo sword you could use it with guardian eatos by discarding it to the graveyard you could target three monsters in your opponents graveyard and the card gains 500 attack for each until the end phase there are no bad cards it just depends on how you use them

Aintsu or however you spell it has a union card that makes it attack go up pretty high, Gate Guardian is a good card just hard to get out, the moth family with cocoon of evolution works wonders, and Burning Algea when used in groups of three with Bad Reaction to Soomachi, Paths of Destiny (Instant 2000 do to Reaction), and Gift Card equals win, I know I've done it so many times. The rest are ok I guess, every card is useful, you just need to find away to make it work.
