Dang, it was OK, but it wasn't THAT funny. The SportsCenter anchor MAY have over-reacted to it (I didn't laugh, but they acted like it's the funny thing human kind has ever created). When Charlie Steiner lost it, he was laughing at Carl Lewis' ill-fated attempt to sing the National Anthem...that was laugh-worthy. This chick was just being kind of stupid.

I'm a Yankees fan and I was a big fan of Clemens while he was in pinstripes, but I believe McNamee is telling the truth. It wouldn't make any sense for him to tell the truth about Pettitte and then lie about Clemens. The fact that they both worked with McNamee and they were practically best friends isn't good for Clemens' defense. He's just about the only big name besides Bonds that is still trying to defend themselves.

it doesn't look good for him. In the first half of the 1998 season Clemens was 8-6 with a 3.77 ERA. During summer and after the injections, Clemens finished the season on a 12-0, 1.77 ERA. Plus, Pettitte and Clemens used the same trainer.

Tony Gwynn and Ken Griffey Jr. were stars in the middle of the roids era and have received absolutely no allegations, while Gwynn was admitted into the hall of fame over white man Mark McGwire.
