I believe the story is mordred's grandmother got married twice because one husband died so morgause didn't know king arthur was her half brother and so they got married and had mordred and arthur's full sister was jealous so she raised mordred to kill his father.
so King Arthur was married to Guinevere and then screwed his half sister, Morgana who then had mordred. Morgana raised Mordred to hate Arthur and kill him because she felt he was a traitor or w/e.
In the legend of King Arthur, Mordred was Arthur's illegitimate son. The scandal surrounding this lie in the fact that this was *after* he and Guinevere had been married and that Mordred's mother was his sister Morgana le Fey. This lullaby is being sung to Mordred by his mother. She raised him to hate his father and to kill him one day. I can't remember if he succeeded, but I know he tried.
Wait so whats the exact story? why did morgana have a child with arthur and did she do it while he was married to gwenvere? and why did morgana want her son to kill arthur? and i cant find the story on wikipedia or anything :\
I love this song and the video's awesome. But one question is this an irish song because i've heard irish music before and it was alot like this one well at lest the tune...
