I have the Super 44's on mine but I left the bullet style resonators in. How did you get your exhaust note to be so open and throaty (sp?). Just the lack of the small resonators?
Just did the h-pipe and resonator delete on mine, going back saturday to put on the Super 44s. Should end up with a deeper throatier tone. I'll post of a video early next week.
he has no resonaters...its a xpipe with new pipe all the way back to mufflers...and he used his stock tips just as i did...so all that mid muffler and resonaters are gone he has none of that shit...
I have a g8 and i am having the hardest time deciding what exhaust to put in it. Do you have headers? And you used super 40's? You said you have an X pipe. Did u take out that mid muffler and replace it with the X pipe. Then replace the stock resonaters with the 40's.
Are there cats on this or did you remove them?

WTF are you trying to prove? People know its a commodore, sticker even notes it's built in Australia.
Holden is a GM subsidiary and you should be happy that GM is exporting the car around the world. Brings money and manufacturing jobs to Australia.

I also have a 09 g8 gt. I too deleted all resonators custom x pipe with 2.5" to flowmaster original 40's with new tips. Sounds good.
