(contd.) when selecting option mode and it collects all the characters' endings and you can even switch the game's language to English to give you a feeling of what it would have been like to have this game released in the U.S. (It even switches the characters' names like Phobos to Huitzul, Bulleta to B.B. Hood.) In terms of features as well as graphics, Vampire Savior for the Sega Saturn is the undisputed winner.
In my opinion, Vampire Chronicle for the Sega Dreamcast is a different game entirely. Sure, it has higher quality sound effects (The characters' voices are much more clear and sounds effect are much more heavy sounding, like when the life bars and timer appear.) than the arcade version and maybe just a TINY bit less loading, but it doesn't offer what Vampire Savior for the Sega Saturn does. I mean, if you beat the game once, you can unlock the EX Options by holding L+R+START (contd.)
This is still to this day the best port of the game. All the characters, and the best visuals (DC version they really screwed up the visuals).
What I really liked was how it had all the characters from both Vampire Savior and Vampire Savior 2. So in a sense it was even better than the arcade release.
I own the DC version and it was a bad port compared to this. I imported both the Saturn version and the DC version when they were each released around 10 years ago.
The Saturn version is far more accurate, the sprites are bigger and it has a much better resolution even up against the DC's VGA. The DC version is off in many ways beside graphics, but I can't go in depth about it in this small window.
@massivewad Mind messaging me the differences? I own both as well and to me it seems like the graphics are sharper on the DC version...All the animation seems intact as well. What's the resolution on the Saturn one exactly?

I can't say Felicia's voice gives her credit. She sounds young and squeaky and though she has cute factor her voice could have been more mature.

The USA Network cartoon for this game was just...wow.

I love this series, and especially the voice saying "Yess !", "monster", "miracle", "tech hit", etc...

Try this game with a virtua stick....amazing gameplay, along with Street fighter Zero 3 and Xmen Vs StreetFighter.
You can find them relatively cheap on ebay.
