I believe several pueblos claim to be the oldest. The Taos Pueblo "Welcome" sign made the declaration so positively that I used it for this clip's title.
Taos is wonderful and unique, with its multi-storey architecture, and its location, right up against the Mountain, but I think Acoma Pueblo, between Albuquerque and Grants, is the oldest, continuously occupied community in North America.

Well, it looks so peacefull there... Maybe I could bake my own bricks and build an attachment? I guess, being a whitey, that probably wouldn't work out... I would understand. I've just always admired this kind of lifestyle.
I Have Been to This Pueblo for Many Ceremomies--They Are A Beautiful People, and A Very Strong Pueblo Tribe!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hey Gary-Hope You Are Well Brother!!!!!!!!! Your Friend
Very nice video. I visited the Pueblo recently and was able to see the Buffalo and Deer Dance. The Pueblo is a special place. I recommend visitors see it, especially during special events.
