Just so everyone knows, and I don't care if you agree or not, Sonic's eyes have always been green comic and in the old games even if you couldn't see them. Green eyes are his trade mark I should know I've been reading the comic until they made Sonic into a soup opera.
@Yamakaza1 Um I don't know about the comics, but his eyes were black in the games, every character had black eyes in the games before SA1. Hence why Classic Sonic has Black Eyes in Generations, same with Classic Tails.
@Jacktheinfinite101 they couldn't make his eyes green cuz the area in the iris would be was too small for the graphic designers to fill in. so the comic and the show were the way they were able to show that his eyes were green.

Do you really think the NC would have said that just for that one reason alone, Sonic 4 is bad game? Is that the reason why you don't like it? I don't think it is. Yeah. Speaking of the bad fanbase and Sonic 06 I got a really good incentive to do an LP of Sonic 06 regarding the fanbase now. Anyway even people who don't like 06 aren't this bad, I mean sure some went a little overboard, this is ridiculous, this is where where people with legitimate opinionated gripes are separated from people who just enjoy complaining.
@Jacktheinfinite101 I can agree. Yes, Sonic 06 is considered bad. Yes, it had (in blunt terms) a bestiality and necromancy overtone near the end. And yes, it was annoying and irritating as hell. However, even games considered bad (like 06) are still better than other games which are considered even worse. Besides, with a game as "frustrating" as 06, wouldn't that make for an interesting LP of trying to beat it anyway?
I find 06 to be easy, but the reason why LP'ing it is in my head now is because I usually like to make a running gag in my playthroughs where I make a satirical version of the plot, like for example I am doing an LP of Sa2 right now and I basically turn the plot into "Eggman is trying to rip off Star Wars". But I have an idea for 06's plot that is too priceless to ignore.
For my own LP's I do have an (accidental) recurring gag. Starting in my Ty The Tasmanian Tiger Let's Play (Part 3, I think) my old PS2 tends to randomly glitch up and freeze on me, and I keep saying stuff like "SEGA's trying to shut me down cause Ty did a Homing Attack!" and such. However, these glitches (PS2 only) are EXTREMELY random; trust me, it could happen a lot in one episode and then none for the next five.
So he would agree that because a character has a different eye color, the game will suck? I think not, he would be like one of the REAL oldschoolers who is glad that SEGA is making another Sonic game like the ones they used to play and would not say that the game is not fun because Sonic has green eyes.
Well this video has nothing to do with that, this video is to depict the NC's (not real) reaction to how people are taking him having green eyes so seriously, including the formation of petitions to change eye color. I really think that NC wouldn't even notice the difference between the two, character models. I mean, having his old model would be nostalgic, but in truth, there are various reason why that wouldn't happen and that shouldn't determine the quality of the game.

Second, the Nostalgia Critic is a very popular video maker on the internet who reviews horrible movies from the 80's and 90's (kind of like the movie version of the AVGN). you're tellin me...hell i thought sonic 06 had potential...and it had it's shining moments...but it was blocked by the imperfections. i loved the co-op game play though. nice touch. other than that...sonic had some good games...just not perfect, which is what these ppl want...

They're not really easy to find except on new format consoles and then they're just showing SEGA that the very first game is well known...which is obvious to them since they constantly make reference to GHZ all the time. Wow. WOW. It's like they're actually TRYING to find things wrong with the new games AND be as annoying as humanly possible in the process! This is the stupidest reason to complain about a game EVER, hands down.

I believe that they are trying to find things to complain about. I believe that there is aportion of this fanbase that will never be satisfied, a portion that enjoys complaining. These kind of people would say that Sonic is too slow in 2006 and then in 2008 say that he is too fast.

Oh noes Sonic has green eyes! ...so? Seriously, I agree with you Jacktheinfinite. Just because Sonic has different eye color doesn't mean the game'll be bad. Heck, I'd buy Sonic 4 for my iPhone, no questions asked. After all, you can't really judge a book by its cover. With that being said, I'd probably play Sonic 06 if I could Let's Play it...

Yeah. Speaking of the bad fanbase and Sonic 06 I got a really good incentive to do an LP of Sonic 06 regarding the fanbase now. Anyway even people who don't like 06 aren't this bad, I mean sure some went a little overboard, this is ridiculous, this is where where people with legitimate opinionated gripes are separated from people who just enjoy complaining.

@Jacktheinfinite101 I can agree. Yes, Sonic 06 is considered bad. Yes, it had (in blunt terms) a bestiality and necromancy overtone near the end. And yes, it was annoying and irritating as hell. However, even games considered bad (like 06) are still better than other games which are considered even worse. Besides, with a game as "frustrating" as 06, wouldn't that make for an interesting LP of trying to beat it anyway?

I find 06 to be easy, but the reason why LP'ing it is in my head now is because I usually like to make a running gag in my playthroughs where I make a satirical version of the plot, like for example I am doing an LP of Sa2 right now and I basically turn the plot into "Eggman is trying to rip off Star Wars". But I have an idea for 06's plot that is too priceless to ignore.

For my own LP's I do have an (accidental) recurring gag. Starting in my Ty The Tasmanian Tiger Let's Play (Part 3, I think) my old PS2 tends to randomly glitch up and freeze on me, and I keep saying stuff like "SEGA's trying to shut me down cause Ty did a Homing Attack!" and such. However, these glitches (PS2 only) are EXTREMELY random; trust me, it could happen a lot in one episode and then none for the next five.

I think not, he would be like one of the REAL oldschoolers who is glad that SEGA is making another Sonic game like the ones they used to play and would not say that the game is not fun because Sonic has green eyes.

Well this video has nothing to do with that, this video is to depict the NC's (not real) reaction to how people are taking him having green eyes so seriously, including the formation of petitions to change eye color. I really think that NC wouldn't even notice the difference between the two, character models. I mean, having his old model would be nostalgic, but in truth, there are various reason why that wouldn't happen and that shouldn't determine the quality of the game.

First off, he wasn't reacting to Sonci having green eyes, I just used this clip and said it was (internet meme). Second, the Nostalgia Critic is a very popular video maker on the internet who reviews horrible movies from the 80's and 90's (kind of like the movie version of the AVGN). He is really funny and this reaction was to something stupid in a movie and he purposely overreacted for comedic effect,

@elvisman2000 : Basically a guy named "aknotholeresident" made a live video of himself watching the trailer for Sonic 4 while carrying a Sonic plushie from the old days. He then made a slew of reactions in the face and is now proclaiming Sonic 4 will suck for one reason and one reason only; he has green eyes. (IE: The design is of the most recent Sonic)
Even going so far as to make claims it looks like Sonic Rush, blah blah blah.

And where are they gonna buy it? They're not really easy to find except on new format consoles and then they're just showing SEGA that the very first game is well known...which is obvious to them since they constantly make reference to GHZ all the time.
