One of my favourite of all of Puccini's choruses.  Pity Edgar wasn't more successful as some wonderful music in it. I have 4 different recordings, although not sure on the Torino version with Jose Cura which has some added bits

Edgar shows IMHO a Puccini in nuce: there are elements of Verdi and Wagner, but here and there, there's the Puccini we know. Well, I may be wrong, as I'm far from being a pro.
