I don't know what your idea of "plate discipline" is, but the guy's only walked 45 times in 171 career games...which means he does NOT have much patience at the plate AT ALL. But he's improved this season, and I think he'll continue to improve. He only turned 23 in August, so he has a long career ahead of him.
