@inofaith dude, this is amazing, no offense but how old are you because you don't seem more than 22 and if that's the case than congratulations at how much you have accomplished! truly fascinated and absolutely amazing!!!
@THENOOB22 Hey man, I'm 24 now, but I was 22 at the time this video was recorded. So you guessed it right :) bravo! I've been doing music for a long time now, to me it's all a gradual progression and doesn't seem like there's huge things that have been accomplised. But thats just my pov. Thanks man :) very nice to hear.
@inofaith oh sweet guess I'm good with picking ages haha but yeah this is cool stuff and I'm very very impressed... do you perform locally? because you definitely have the potential to!
@THENOOB22 Yeah I did the beatbox show live on stage a couple of times.
But in reality I spend about 95% of the time on Producing and DJ-ing. I've always been a producer. And beatboxing/scratching are more of those things I do to come up with ideas and to have fun. Beatboxing does form a small part of my production/samples.. but very subtle.
haha, still love this vid man. man i'm getting pretty sick at my kaoss pad now. as soon as i get it connected to some good speakers i'll upload a dnb vid. if you haven't found this already, then try making a growl sound, like rahzel doin the wind technique, for your bass.
then use the nod5 effect and move your finger from bottom left to top left to top right and lift off, simulataneously adding an even bassier sample from another memory bank. makes for the sickest drum n bass break ever!!
True it's hard to get things in their right place. As a producer I also want songs to fit in right. I'm now experimenting with Live Beatbox + Producing hybrid sets :)
mate, awesome stuff. great vid. properly realistic and demonstrating the difficulties in beatboxing with a kaoss pad too, like getting it perfectly in time. i've been beatboxing for 2-3 years and got a kaoss pad about a week ago. can't wait to get good at it. i'll upload a vid when i feel confident. keep up the good work!! sick drum n bass man
thats fuking Legen....wait for it.....dary! am just starting to take interest in beatboxing.... am a jungle lover and will prolly focus on drum and base beats and jungle. would like any help on getting started with beat boxing if u can give any help it be awesome
And second of all, don't choose because you like what others are doing. Act upon what you wan't to do.
I didn't choose to start beatboxing. I wanted to make music but could'nt afford turntables and a sampler.
Listen very carefully what all the music that is good and you like has to offer... put that into your own music. (but don't just copy stuff, get inspired)
thanks for the comments on the videos bro its appreciated:)
this is absolute sikness!!! the snare that you drop in at 1:27 wkd m8! sounds like a taxman, hazard, dj pleasure snare....would love to have it in my tracks.

Yeah specific sound is very important to me... dont know the dj pleasure snare by name.. but maybe it's just something I picked up listening, making and mixing dnb.
I intent to close the gap inbetween live looping and my own production to get more natural elements in my songs and more stylised stuff in my live set.
If yes: That's also a loop i recorded scratching, you hear the recorded movements of me pulling back the record. I just turned off the Beat and Bassline and solo-ed the trumpet for a while. the KP3 doesn't make that sound.
great man

Hey man, dankje.

pandadnb 2 years ago
Thnx man,

But the best way to be uniqe is to make your own ;)
That's what I do, and not what others should buy but should try for them selves.. or else everybody would use the same snare over and over ... :P
But I get your point. For those in need sample packs are a blessing.
You also keep doing what you do best, and improve.
