  • they need to add jumps haha

  • @sk14life They used to race downhill in San Fran. Jumps were massive. Lots of injuries.

  • your gloves rock!

  • @DarkFlight600 @DarkFlight600 I am good as new(ish) and ready to get back out there, against the wishes of my loved ones of course. Who am I kidding? I went for a joyride 3 months after the accident! Thank you so much for your thoughts :) Take care

  • 2:18 nice pass....

  • @r1gester Thanks! I was thrilled lol

  • Thanx a million :)

  • Was this in San Dimas 2010? I'm tryin to find footage of my brother who was downhill skateboarding in San Dimas at final.

  • @cj33ward Yes. For downhill check out silverfishlongboarding website. I think they have photos.

  • @DarkFlight600 It is a lot of fun. It is scary at first if you don't work up to your comfort level, or don't brake enough. I have hit the hay a few times. My good friend broke her back in Sept luging in front of my house. Went off a cliff, 5 vertebrae are fused and it both dislocated and broke her wrist. It was just laying there. Ick. 11 days in the hospital and a few months later she wants to luge again. *sigh* But you can die walking out to get the mail, right?

  • GREAT!!!! ;)

  • @AlienProduce Thank you! I wish I had the HD GoPro. Just another expense I need to commit to lol. I don't wear a camera in qualifying or in the race due to aerodynamics. We step it up in the races, it would be great footage :)

  • @msxxfast lol

Yes I understand what I say, because a friend of mine who runs the go-cart, do not get to have a camera to race, if the camera is not the GoPro.. .! :P

But your video is amazing! As always.. . ;)

  • @AlienProduce Lol, "you can't wear a camera...unless it is GoPro" Vested interest! I want to try the VHoldR HD. I have the original one but it is such a pain to mess with. Way more streamlined though.

  • @msxxfast Yes I understand! But to try, yeahhh!! :)

Take a shot with the camera pointing you, for more action! ;)

  • @AlienProduce I have before but the only place for it is on your foot and the footage is not that great because you have to move your legs so much. Chasing someone with a backwards facing camera affixed to their sled seems to be the best way. But you have to be pretty much drafting them with a wide angle lense. I'll see what I can do :)

  • @msxxfast I will wait to see it!!!

Good month to have and spend everything well!

  • man that looks like so much fun. what kind of speeds do you hit?

  • @WildBill1006 This hill (Frank G Bonelli Park) isn't that fast, probably 45? I usually average 45-54 MPH on the runs we ride. I believe the speed record is right under 100 (non-powered). They are trying to break it again. I don't care for the super speed part in luge but rather who can get to the turn and turn in without crashing part lol Check out the Maryhill video, that is one long run. But my favorite! When your lying down heading toward a turn, 50+ MPH is fast enough lol
