  • I'm impressed.

From this point on, I'm going to strive to paint like Seamuberkely...

The next portrait I begin, I will not sketch like I usually do.

Wow...the way he seems to just brush on a blob, and with a stroke or two he creates a form!

My techique is much too restricted, and my work has more rigidity than I'd like.

Time to go watch every seamusberkely video I can find

  • Amazing! a humble guy

  • Well said.

  • Thank you for this wonderful summary of why you paint. It helped me so much in that I could never put into words my own reasons for painting. While being creative in so many ways, I found myself the most uncreative of individuals when it came to expressing why I like to paint and, more specifically, why I love doing portraits. Since returning to painting just 5 years ago and never exploring YouTube before today, I feel blessed to have stumbled across your videos! What an inspiration! Thank you!

  • excellent!!!!!!

  • Hey might as well check out my new chalk pastel crazy drawing

  • Very nice. I like how you bring out the "simple" in your paintings, something I'm still not that good at even though I've been painting steadily since 1979.

    Slow, aren't I....

Hard to believe I try to finish a painting a day, now, eh?
