  • WTF? hahah

  • holy crap

  • The puffer fish was like wait that's not a gold fish cracker

  • poor goldfish:(

  • i hate that you chose an innocent goldfish to feed it to

  • @Codmiester2 Sorry, I guess the store was sold out of child molester goldfish...

  • Flawless Victory

  • is this salt, brackish or freshwater?

  • @sxybachottie @ZagrebelniyAN

I doubt it's freshwater, probably with a salinity of 1.010+ due to how terribly hard it is to get a puffer to that size in freshwater, they usually die beforehand.

  • @FreeTheSticks you got it dude, my GSP sits at 1.010 and hes about 3 inches. Check my vids of mine. What do you know of growth rates? How old do you think this gsp is?

  • @MaverickSlim I've never actually experienced owning a GSP (would like to set up a brackish tank soon though). I actually have no idea on the actual age of this puffer, but they can become this size at 2-3 years if cared for properly.

  • saltwater or marine?

  • By the way. I saw your response to another person....puffer fish large like this ONLY eat live food......... so...they do not even bother to try flakes or pellets when grow up?

    .....|||

  • He likes goldfish just like people do he knows whats good

  • Aww, look at it fluttering it's little fins. It's cute!

  • .............how big is it?? If the fish will not grow bigger then 3 inch then I will try to keep one in my tank....... Yours looks big....5 inch??

  • @everest0411 They can grow to 6 in.

  • @lasermodder

    Thanks....

sight.......6 inch...and eats smaller fishes......looks like I cannot have it for now.......... Will smaller tank restricts its size? Just ask. I know people will say it is crud to give small space to a fish to limit its size. Just want to know is it a real thing or just a hypothesis.

    Thanks

  • how long have you had him/her for?

  • yum

  • yummy!

  • Thats a huge ass puffer. O.o

  • how big?

  • How large is he?

  • dude really??? why even do this to a poor little goldfish? its just wrong like i dont mean to sound weird but what is you were the goldfish how would u like it? getting eaten when u did nothing wrong! i mean just its so wrong to do somehting like this.

  • @kupkakefairy Puffer fish that large usually only eat live food.

  • BUT this is illegal, unnecessary suffering to the gold fish a vertebrate animal. In the wild fine fair enough the clown fish has a chance of escaping as much as the puffer does not getting fed, in a tank the gold fish has no chance of survival. Its like feeding a snake a live mouse.

  • @kaitiee100 So youre saying... if you go out and pull the tentacles off a squid its legal just because it has no backbone?? And you are saying feeding a snake live food is illegal, because its not.

  • @DarkNinjaXD Its not animal abuse if you're feeding an animal. For example I have no choice but to feed my snake live mice. He refuses the pre-killed frozen ones. Nature is nature.

  • @beerscientist357 Dude, thats what im saying. I was telling that other person its not abuse. >.< Read right please.

  • @DarkNinjaXD Feeding a snake live mice is illegal in the UK.

  • @DarkNinjaXD And yes, pulling the tentacles off of a squid is legal.

  • @DarkNinjaXD Yeah pretty much. And feeding a snake live food is illegal in the UK, I wouldn't know where you live, but it's morally and ethically wrong where ever you live...

  • @kaitiee100 Not necessarily. It all depends on the person and what they believe and how you were raised. Plus. The UK has some pretty dumb laws.

  • @kaitiee100 It's perfectly legal to feed anything anything as long as it doesn't harm it. I have fish that only eat live crickets and three puffers that will only eat bloodworms. Circle of life. Fucking get used to it.

  • @OctopusCabbage ....So eating it isn't harming it???? the killing part that lasts quite a while (when it you) isn't harming it? Yeah cricket and bloodworms are inverts (sorry to insult your intelligence) but they don't feel pain. Goldfish have a nervous system, they have neurones and brain so they DO feel pain!!! which therefore makes it illegal. Against the Animal Welfare Act 07.It is unnecessary suffering.

  • It's so funny because the thing looks extremely proud of himself after devouring that Goldfish.

  • ok ok ok, got it, i must've been high when i wrote my comment

  • NOM NOM NOM NOM

  • Sometimes the goldfish wins! Just search for "Death of a Puffer Fish"

  • wow i didnt know puffers were carnivorous!! nice

  • can puffer fish live in fresh water????

  • oh and also, ewwwwwwww

  • I feel sad for the goldfish (even thou puffer fish eat other fish too)... WHAT DID THE GOLD FISH DO TO YOU TO DESERVE THIS!!!

  • thats a figure eight puffer, not a green spotted

  • @2blackmoor ah, If its green and its spotted, its probably a green spotted. Also note the lack of the figure 8 markings on the dorsal fin and the anterior tail... its a GSP... sorry mate.

  • @2blackmoor You are totally wrong about that. He's a full grown GSP, not an F8.

  • HOW DID YOURS GET SO BIG. MINE IS LIKE 2 INCHES.

  • It gave a cheeky 'thank you' smile after it had eaten it.

  • すっ、すげー

  • @joushpop i have two of these and they can live in either but they wont survive long in fresh they tend to tromendous in warm brackish water with a salinity of 1.015. Hope this helps.

  • are these salt or fresh water / can sombody plz tell me

  • Couldn't you have given it a guppy instead? I mean a goldfish... they're really pretty.

Puffer fish have the most table manners out of any aquatic animal.

  • @xuanchau98 guppy fish is cute, beside guppy fishes are to small to fill his/her belly, lol

  • wow, thats one bad ass puffer man, great job raising it, how old is that big ol thing? cause i have two gsp's that ive had for about 3er4 months an are a mere fraction of that size, was just wondering hhow long it would take for them to reach maturity, thanks, take care

  • Comment removed

  • that was so cool =D i thought it was gonna swalow it whole

  • WOW that's a beautiful fish they sell them at a pet shop near me but not that size, I got some angels, silver dollars and knife fish in my 60 gallon, I have heard these are pretty aggressive though, you think I would be able to mix it with my other fish?

  • @DejRap ehh, if you have alot of time and money invested in your set up you may want to stray away from that, also on a side note theyre brackish and eventually saltwater fish, theyre more of a species type tank ya know, personally my two one inchers have a 55 brackish all to themselves and after seeing what they do to frozen crabs(cracking them without a prob) and the quarter inch scar on my thumb from being bitten while trying to feed one of them, id stray away from keeping them with

  • @DejRap delicate fish like that because theyre very adept at taking chunks out of anything that moves with that big fused front tooth of theirs

  • WTF? He didn't try to get away, and DAMN he tore him up!

  • Please watch my fish video!

I think my green puffer fish is endanger of dying please help!!'

  • O.o My Mom Brought me 2 of them yesterday as a early christmas gift... There like sooo Tiny :D... But they r in a really small tank... and i fell in love with them (Cheese & Pik) but i think im going to return them tomorrow cuz idk how to take care of them soo well.. :'( idk what 2 do..

  • wow your puffer is huge! Mine are so tiny.

  • Holy shit he likes to eat... The puffer I have is healthy yet far skinnier than this guy, I'm surprised he doesn't get full

  • Is there any other fish living with your puffer? also how big of a tank is that?

  • can you tell me the scientific name of this puffer? i'm going to buy 1 but in italy the name of this fish is not the american name translate... thank you

  • how long till he grew that big?

  • @RsMrMaxo99 In the wild they eat clown fish and other pretty reef fish.Big fish eat smaller fish.Plus,I only give him goldfish once and a great while. He eats mostly snails and frozen uncooked shrimp.

  • @RsMrMaxo99 I don't understand ppl like you..In the wild you think this fish eats McDonald's or live fish?

  • @4168033000 Im thinkin there eating a 59 cent cheeseburger at McDonalds

  • @RsMrMaxo99 what do you think happens in the wild, people give them fish food?

  • @tl43155 I already told u they eat a 59 cent cheese burger from McDonalds

  • @RsMrMaxo99

    its life.....

out in the wild creatures...prey vs predator..

  • @YeahOkayNo not if you get them at a good fish store

  • ur a dumbass

  • oh nom nom

  • poor goldfish!

  • 0:32 he smiled after he burped, lol.

  • nice and clean tank! the puffer really inhaled that fishy.

  • haha it's smiling at 0:31

  • wait puffers dont eat fish food

  • pause it a 0:28 you will see a weird thing!!!

  • he looks like he is sucking on it at 0:16

  • E se eri tu il pesce rosso.

  • Ma tubci godi su queste puttanate?

  • Fuckin hell, he soon polished that off, lol, like fatcat with a cheeseburger, it didn't stand a chance. lol

  • GEEZUSS!!!!!!!!!

  • how old should my puffer be bfor i make the tank fully salt water?

  • I didn't know puffers had sharp teeth. Always though as them as toothless fish that swallowed their prey alive

  • @leafmytear it is a saltwater fish.

  • salt water or freshwater ? please tell me ?

  • the puffer is way cuter than that goldfish =)

  • das wel zielig :(

  • so cute never knew that they looked like that he was even smiling :D

  • that goldfish got murked

  • Why are you feeding this puffer a live goldfish? 'The Circle of Life' and 'Fish eat smaller fish' does not hold true in this example, no way in nature would a goldfish and a green puffer be swimming in the same channel of water. Puffers eat snails, worms, crabs and mosquito larvae not goldfish. You say you feed your puffer a goldfish once a year as a 'treat' but is this a treat for your fish or you? I'm going to guess the latter as your puffer is better off eating snails and grinding its teeth..

  • @spittingfeathers1 yes and keeping fish in an aquarium much smaller than their natural environment probably isnt the most ethical thing to do either. get over it

  • @chongas92 it's the circle of life puffers gotta eat

  • he got fucked up

  • sup dude, love the puffer he's some size compared to my two.. a couple of questions... i was sold mine and told they were fresh water fish , ive now had a search on the net and some people keep them in brackish water or full salt water... whats yours in and how old is he for the size he is??

  • i got one to mine dosent grow ......how did you make it grow that big??? please respond

  • I have the same kind as yours, and today for the second time I noticed he was choking and I noticed he has eaten one of the rocks, he usually tries to file his teeth with the rocks and I guess its his second time swallowing one. Its so scary, I didn't know what to do he had turned red and instead of being horizontal he was like sickled and was moving weirdly....I dont know what to do to make him feel better. is there any way that I can make him throw up what he ate?

  • feeding live fish is generally not a good idea. The feeder fish cause a lot of fat around the liver of the puffer fish and your puffer can die early. feed him crabs snails tilapia (frozen) ... stuff like that. also live fish meant for feeding always carry A LOT of diseases.

I like how big and happy he is though ! good job !

  • Puffer: Nom Nom Nom Nom

  • beautiful GSP, I hope mine get as big as yours.

  • poor gold fish!!! why did you that????!

  • what type of snails u feed it i feed regula old pest snails but i they have a very thin shell

  • poor gold fish :(

  • wow wicked puffer, mine wasn't big enough to eat fish yet, and with snails he'd suck them outta the shell instead of opening the shell lol

  • THATS CRUEL!

  • hey how long have you had these? I've had mine for like 4 months, they are kind of big but yours is way bigger. And I am glad to know they do ok in marine water after a year or so, I'd like to add some liverock to their tank

  • Very distburing

  • Your GSP is awesome! How long did it take to get that big? I have two but the biggest one is 2" long. you can check out my vid off em if u want.

  • How long is he/she ?

  • I was sad when the goldfish died.

  • What's the size of your tank?

  • awww he's so cute!! i'm actually going to be a proud owner of a figure 8 puffer tomorrow morning :) That lil guy you got there is so adorable!!

  • how big is he?

  • awesome animal:D

i got a turtle wich i feed guppyfish, platy's and mollys every weekend.

i breed them just for shelly:P

  • That puffer is amazingly gorgeous! I'd love to have one but I'd probably kill it..

  • good! i think you should also feed it with mice like the porcupine fish on the other video. at least we can keep the pests under control.

  • oh god it looks like its sucking its brains out D:

  • I have had a spotted green puffer from walmart for about 6 months now, and I have followed all the directions for taking care of a green puffer. So Yesterday I started feeding him snails to trim down his teeth, they dont seem big at all but I wanted to start now before its too late. So i got him two snails and instead of using his teeth to crack into the shell he seems to have just sucked the insides out. I was just wondering if if you had any suggestions? thank you.
