WELL WELL done my man... My boss at work has bullied me into doing this in 2012. Are you running it again? I ran a marathon recently (not my first) but I'm terrified about this one! Any advice gratefully received.
@nigelmtb Thanks Nigel, Hope you enjoy the race. 45 miles is such a long way! I wasn't planning on running it this year. Need a break.
Only real advice I can think of is expect to be out there all day long, make sure you can read maps well or stick with someone who does know how. Eat as much food as your stomach can handle early in the race (in the first 2-3 hours), you'll need the fuel later. Consume salt (either salt tablets or regular table salt, bring some). Hydrate, have fun!
