I cannot blame them as it has not rained, I cannot blame them due to the war but what I cannot understand is why they keep on having kids when they got no food to feed them and the future does look bleak. These people keep digging themselves a deeper hole. I feel sorry for the children, they should not have been brought in such poverty.

Lack of developement! Africa used to produce more food in 1960 than they do today yet the population has quadrupled. Instead of going there and investing in solutions and take a proactive stance the international community takes a reactive stance.

2nd problem is population growth you cannot have development when older people die of aids and too many children are born than orphaned. There is no development in uneducated populations. Sadly it looks like famine will be the worst ever now.
