@CurottoCanMaster82 Thank you! The Boat Races Clean Up footage is on my laptop which hasn't been working for several months now. As soon as I get it fixed, I'm probably just gonna re=upload the whole Boat Race series so it's all together.
@CurottoCanMaster82 Thanks, I'll fix it this summer at the latest as soon as I start working and getting paid lol. The song at the beginning is called "Thrashin' of the Christ" by Municipal Waste
@IWS15 All of these trucks and two of the Curotto Can's are on Condors. There's an MSL and Curotto Can on Volvo WXLL's, all but one of the commercial FL's are on Volvo WX64's, and the roll off's are mostly on Volvo's, but I think there's a Pete and a Kennworth rolloff as well.
Awesome as always, it never gets old seeing these Condor M/As collecting multiple cart setouts. The M/A seems to have a better grip on those anorexic Toters like at 07:46
@mtr82952 I've always been impressed with McNeilus's gripper design. It's big enough to wrap around 96 gal. EVR II's, small enough to grab and 32 gal. cart, and skinny enough to reach between closely space carts. That is the makings of a good design right there lol
@TrashMonkey22 Yeah, I really like the M/As the Autoreach not so much, I really need to get footage of the M/As that the local WM has, ours are all on LE or LEUs.
@mtr82952 The Autoreach arm is a pretty shitty design in my opinion. WIsh we had some Mack's here. But that's ok, I like Condors. When I start driving in a year or two, I'd rather be in a Condor anyway. Much more comfortable and a lot more room to spread out.
@TrashMonkey22 Yep I agree. We have some Macks here (most are Republic or Waste Management) but all the smaller haulers seem to like Peterbilt quite a bit. I really wish we had condord here lol at least at my grandparents house they have allmost all condors (there are a few old Volvos) for trash and recycling. Condors seem to be more common on the west coast.
@lawnboy1010 The boxes were stuffed full of packing material and shit so the recycle truck wouldn't take them. Plus they're starting to get pretty strict about the size limit on cardboard and having it flattened here because so many people are recycling now that especially on the big route days like Thursday and Friday, the recycle trucks are having to dump 4 or 5 times and aren't getting done until 5 or 6 pm some days.
@lawnboy1010 I imagine we'll be getting carts here sometime soon. It's already pretty much been single stream for 3 or 4 years - only thing that is kept separate is glass. They just gotta get the city's approval and then we'll probably get carts with some sort of modified glass collection program.
awesome vid! Seems like he intentionally stops the arm to prevent lid flips. A new rule or driver preference? or neither and Im just seeing things? lol
@3amrepmike3 Thanks! Nah, they don't care about flipped lids here. This truck has always had a slight problem with the arm, where it kinda hangs up for a split second about 1/2 - 2/3 of the way down and then slows down a bunch for the rest of the way down. Kinda weird, but not surprising. Every single one of these McNeilus's they have here have some sort of oddity with either the arm, the packer or both. And a couple of the trucks have some weird problems with the external controls lol.
@RainbowDisposal Thanks! There were a lot of apartment complexes on this route that used carts instead of dumpsters, so it made for some nice big stops. During the summer, I wanna film this place on the Thursday route that has huge apartment complexes that use carts. Some of the lines there have 10+ carts! And lol @ the "evolution" totally did not notice that!
Nice work--the shots around 3:42, 5:51, and 9:45 were all cool, love that with the early morning sun everywhere. These have hopper cams right?
He handled that pretty well at 7:34, good of you to help out. Made it actually more interesting to see him dealing with the boxes and stuff.
I wonder how well an M/A would do with a heavy greens route..
Very entertaining vid. Last few days I've been thinking about M/As for some reason, so I needed this :D Terrific job!
