I don't know about him, but the way I learn a new tune is to break it up into each individual bar and practice each part seperately and then jointhem up together. Depending on you ability, you'll learn the tune. But most of all, you have to listen to the tune quite alot so that you have it in you mind. Hum it until you can hum it with out fault, then put it altogether. It takes a littel time. The more ability you have the quicker you'll learn.

great playing there !! how do you like the trb-6PII ?? i'm soon to buy one, could you tell me the pro's and Con's please? I know its a great instrument with a peizo pickup on it, ebony fretboard , neck through etc. You've played on it, please tell me what its like? i have not come across much reviews on this bass. I do know its a heavy bass though, especially the bubinga version. But.... that stuff sounds great.

It's the worst bass I've ever had. No good at all. It seems a pro, many people think that, but it really sucks. The worst purchase of my life. Actually I' don't know why I've bought it, it has a awful sound, no way to get a real bass sound out of it. It's only beautiful to see. Seriously.

I'm serious. I think that a bass should have a groovy sound or something that could be called a "bass" sound. I think you know what I mean.

This (all?) trb is totally dead. It's impossible to get a good sound out of it. Some friend have one, and it's always the same story. Nobody is satisfied. Listen to my vid, listen to the sound.

It was the only 6 string that I have, so I had to use it.

1) Sorry to hear about that. Well I have a TRB1006, cheaper version, but I really like it. I was actually surprised. It's more aggressive, more character maybe, but it's very difficult to say. I think your bass is a bit more noble sounding,less aggressive,more smooth, or gentle.

2) I thought your TRB 6PII was the nonplusultra. I have to say that I like my TRB1006 a lot, surprisingly, in fact I like it more than the Patitucci one. Anyway, if you plan to sell your bass, you'll get good money out of it, they are sought-after instruments. You got any dream bass in your mind?

I don't know what to say, I was enthusiastic too about my trb some years ago.

I agree with "I think your bass is a bit more noble sounding,less aggressive,more smooth, or gentle.", but what you say is different from "have no sound". That's my opinion.

Just one advice, before buy the trb you want, think well ;)
