Maybe one such as yourself doesnt realize this, but they are putting forth a lot of effort. They are both so good that the other has no choice but to keep good position. Unlike the heavier weight classes which hav little fear of being taken down by low shots, therefore smaller wrestlers hav to be on guard for those kinds of things. But that's just one example. Not to mention smaller wrestlers are commonly quicker than others, so staying on guard is key to victory.

I did wrestle throughout high school at 119, and my matches were never this boring. I know that they are wrestling at a much higher level, but this is no excuse to have a stupidly boring match. I understand the positioning, however, the average person does not and will find this extremely boring, hence keep wrestling where it is, nowhere.

You forget that they are here to WIN. I used to agree w/ your statement, however since I myself wrestled in high skool and have continued you my career to college. I hav a pretty good understanding of why they wrestle the way they do. oh and just how did you wrestle in high skool then? did you try to make EVERY match exciting or did you hav a few close ones yourself? it takes lost of skill and hard work to compete on there level. And that's why the match seems slow

@tupacisincuba are you kidding me? i think this match is not boring at all...look what they both are doing, playing the ref, taking shots, setting each other up...i have to admit maybe the first minute is slightly boring but the match in its entirety is def not boring. I think the match was very interesting and a very good match up. 1-0 match ok, boring...6-4 OT match. Not...get into it man. Watch closely and see what they do and how they react to each movement...Great scrambles too.
