  • this is why i love having a hunting camp in amish country

  • Its not so much the guy that took the deer as it is the deer for living long enough in a management area to get that big....awesome very awesome

  • Wow! Just Wow!...

  • awesome!!! good things happen to good people!! i live in Hart county Ky and it was

the talk of the town!! Kentucky has some of the best hunting to be found any where in the lower 48 states..to the fella from Harlan Co. its south of Louisville before Bowling Greene

  • wat part of kentucky? i live in Harlan

  • Dan killed that when a buddy of mine killed a bruiser. That deer was at the taxidermist when we took a 180 class buck to be mounted... Something was in the air that weekend. We killed 2 more monsters in the 160 class. KY is one of the best places I have ever hunted...

  • VERY VERY Nice Buck.. i have seen some Monsters in my day but gosh!!! this bites the cake nice buck..

  • wow, thats insane

  • that there is a legendary buck for any hunting man or woman(once in a lifetime)

  • I saw one bigger than this or just as big in the early 1990's when driving thru Colorado.I saw some huge elk or buck that had gotten hit by a car or truck in the Colorado mountains and it was lying near a ravine.I got a pretty good look at the back of it and its antlers.

  • nice buck sir.

  • NOW THATS A BUCK!!! WHAT A MONSTER!!!

  • Incredible buck.

  • that is one big buck

  • they dont use tools then what is a gun.

  • i shot a 4X1 nontypical my first year amazing wright

  • That's a really nice buck. You usually don't see those kind of bucks anywhere...

  • wow i shot a nice 13 point on a management area butt it wasnt tht big it had a double brow tine and sticker on each side tht was 6 inches long each butt WOW THT IS A BIG DEER!!!!

  • Nice deer by a nice guy.....that what it is about

  • wow! this deer is freaking huge

  • i shot a 6 and a doe

  • I like his story. this guy is showing a lot of respect to that deer!

  • wow lol i shot a 6this year

  • I'm glad somebody worthy was able to take that deer.

  • This is my favorite deer story

  • all, I can say is WOW!!!.....And from a mangement area, unbelievable!!

  • A sticker only has to be an inch or longer to count

  • thats amazing!

my deer this year i shot throug the liver and lung whith a .270 win at 30 yards-he droped after runing about 50 yards-but was only a litle 3 point

  • @Ready2Run1 -nice i just shot a nice 12 pointer with my muzzleloader about 100 yards out. he was a typical 12 pointer about 19 1/2 in spread

  • cant say ive ever had antler soup...only vennison hmmm

  • what the buck!

  • very nice. that's a dream come true buck. i'm looking for mine, and recording the journey...

  • As long as you can fit a wedding ring on it, it counts as a point.

  • Depends on the state you are in, Ky defines an antlered deer as a deer with visible, polished or velvet-covered bone showing above the hairline, excluding button bucks

  • actually in most states these days it has to be at least 1 inch long. if it is a spike then each needs to be 3 inches long to be a legal Buck

  • exact oposite in MO if the spike is over 3 inches it is protected.

  • not in missouri

  • @WesKrazyGood yes they do i live in mo it has to be 1 inch

  • at part 4:44 the albino deer we had 1 of those but it was a doe and she had lived longer than they say they r supposed 2 so my uncle shot her with a bow.

  • that's a monster buck! good job to the hunter

  • great story. The guy deserved to get that buck.

  • WOW!....WHAT A BUCK

  • ive seen some cool amish deer farms up in Jamesport Mo. Awesome bucks..

  • i gust started deer huntit... whats drop time

  • It's drop tine. It's a buck that has a point in it's antlers (tine) that has grown down or towards the ground.

  • its a drop tine. its when the deers antler grows downward not upwards

  • drop tine, it is a tine coming off the main beam

  • you no the pionts on the deer a drop tine is the ones that grow down ward not up

  • its drop tine... Its like a horn that goes down instead of up...

Usueally youll see that on old deer

  • drop tyne, if a buck has a point or tyne that extends below the the normal curvature of a rack is said to be a drop tyne

  • It is a tine (not time) that grows downward from the main beam oter points could be growing down on other points and they wouldn't be considered a drop tine.

  • incorrect a back drop is considered tine also

  • I hunt with some amish in southern ohio and they are very good hunters and people in general. This get's my blood pumping big time! nice deer dan!

  • Is that a 32 point buck ??????

  • i live in kentucky and this state is producing some huge deer!

  • wow jus bout hunting season

  • I live 15 miles away from dan Miller in Mortons Gap ky and have been to pennerile park many times good deer.

  • That's really cool. I live in Kentucky and I would love to even see a buck that huge

  • some hunters these days should take a lesson from dan miller, not in terms of being amish neccessarily but this is probably the most modest guy ive ever heard. just seems like a guy i would really want to hunt with and i guy i would like to meet and congratulate him.

  • Awesome story! Thanks for telling it.

  • GOD has Blessed Dan Miller with one GREAT buck, that's for sure !!!!!!

  • even the most sesoned would get buck fever!!!!! awesome

  • love this story a hunters dream!!!!!!

  • They rub their antlers off and the reason he has so many points is because it has been around awhile and during velvet theyget injured sometimes and it messes with their antlers. Great shot also. I'm 13 and the bigggest mule deer i've shot is a 7 by 10 and the biggest whitetail i've shot is a 9 by 8. :-)

  • good lord man them are huge

  • God's blessing.

  • droptine 0.0

  • Wow, nice buck. Great story.

  • i think i would have peed my pants when i saw that monster!!!

  • great story!

  • when deers antlers fall off do there foreheads fall off to?

  • no they dont

  • I saw in tv once when someone was shed hunting they found an intact raced attached in the middle by the skull cap. They said it was rare but the buck would recover because the hole should grow back quickly. I wonder if his brain was exposed.

  • no they do not

  • ok you are a noob antlers dont fall off they shed them

  • lmao, man, your question made my day.

  • Just Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats huge

  • That deer is the hardest to shoot.

  • A+ video
