  • Good luck Wake County!

I hope you succeed in your resegregation! Many Americans of all races support you!

  • People are starting to realize what I've been saying for a long time and have been called a racist. which is people perfect the company of others like themselves, which is why multiculturalism isn't and has never worked.

  • Forward together

  • There is only a few questions to ask when spending limited resources. Did the busing improve academic results? Why has most of America rejected busing? What do the studies on the effectiveness of busing say? This school district will have 100 million less next year. Is this realy a good way to spend money?

  • @FactChecking101 Actually diverse schools have shown an improvement in student test scores as opposed to ethnically homogeneous schools. And apparently many Wake County parents were satisfied with busing, but did not turn out to vote for the school board members. It is partially their fault for not being politically active and voting, but still, they have a right to be angry at the attempts to change the system they were fine with.

  • @FactChecking101 It has worked and black and white students like it. The problem is that there is no money the problem is that it really hurts everyone. To many adults get emotional and have their on motives

  • why were they arrested?

  • did Fox cove this

  • "we're with you!, we're with you!", no you're not, you're behind a camera not getting arrested

  • Jonny and Irene

Do you have Videoo of Bill Randall's comments?

  • In regards to the private message, I wasn't yelling or screaming. You can't do that with text. This is civil. You may not agree with it, or like being wrong, but this is civil.

  • Keep it civil.

  • ...and yes, I misspelled back. I'm still ahead of you.

  • @jeessick420 angry little witch you are! hahahaha!

  • @PLF817: You're right. I'll pick on you. In that post, you were stupid enough to do three things:

1: Use the word "every" out of context- "every think"?

2: Fail to pluralize "top", as in "TOPS the charts".

    3. Prove the point of those in favor of changing the system- NC students are performing POORLY under a system that was implemented 10 years ago...not bak in the Civil Rights era...and IS NOT WORKING to the benefit of those students as it was intended to do.

  • @jeessick420 I like to see you try it!

  • @jeessick420 it is apparent you are a bully and the fact you stooped so low to pick on a child speaks volumes! I surmise when you were a child someone picked on you! In addition, to you acting out on-line you are ball of anger! Therefore, it is safe to say your parents, if you had parents must have beat you as a child. At any rate, get some therapy and take out your frustrations on the right people.... your jacked up family!

  • Butterflyleaf claims that WCPSS "want us to be serpated". No, dear...they want you to be EDUCATED, which clearly you are not. What better way to show that the current system is not working than a grammatically-incorrect post by one of it's students. If that kid is old enough to use a computer, he or she should know how to spell S-E-P-A-R-A-T-E-D. Thanks, Butterflyleaf, for proving a point. Don't expect a medal from Rev. Barber.

  • @jeessick420 Butterflyleaf from your point of view may appear to be functionally illiterate! However, did you every think this child my have a learning disability and because of school budget cuts this student academic needs will not be given any attention? Btw, when I moved to NC in 1979, NC was at the bottom of the list for low SAT scores and so much more. However, NC top the charts with eight grade drop outs and 12th grade seniors not graduating from high school.

    Btw, picking on a kid???

  • @PLF817 also they treat my friend like crap bc she is in a family that doesnt earn alot of money so they believe that she isnt gonna make it and she gets free lunch which she doesnt really understand how that will help her family

  • @jeessick420 i type very fast and they are thinking about it bc some parents are complaining about who their children are sitting next to that is why while i was watching the news teens were crying because they have friends that arent the same race as them

  • i remeber this bc they want white kids and black kids to be serpated

  • This does not have to do with race, it has to do with allowing children to attend schools in their neiborhoods and not forced to have to spend hours daily on the bus.

  • @MrsLadyPatriot i go to school at east garner middle school and they want his to be serpated

  • To the poster of this video, there is no segregation. I think this whole thing is silly, and I'm glad I no longer live in Wake County because of it.

  • If these people have nothing to gripe about, they aren't happy.

  • resegregation? WOW

The Wake County School Board has done nothing wrong. There is no racism involved in this, just like there is no racism in Arizona.

  • @whoisit87 The racism may not be intentional, but because of residential segregation, not busing will lead to less diverse schools, and poorer minority schools because of their socio-economic status. It's not intentional, but will lead to similar results of less diversity and opportunity in schools. I'm writing a paper about this. :) Its fascinating but could have a very sad ending for students who like the way things are. Where is their say?

  • @whoisit87 Some people call it "financial racism" where there is more emphasis on finance than race.

    Jackass.

  • @Piriathy All this does (the calling something racist that isn't) is to make you sound like you know what you are talking about. Unless you LIVE IN or are FROM Wake County I'd suggest you sit down and be quiet. Have you ever once thought about how much it costs to bus all these kids to schools they really don't want to go to? Is putting kids in kindergarten on a bus for two hours really a smart thing to do?

  • Why can't they just fix up the bad schools? why is it so hard?

  • @lushfauna Budget cuts
