@melfaery that's half the fun - when everyone is dancing and moving and going crazy for the sake of the music they're hearing. this generation (which i am sadly a part of) is full of boring people who're content to nod along and get angry at the people who are really enjoying themselves.

@whimzeejmachine the funny thing is the people who have "earned" the right to the front row are the people who wait 7 hours to get in the front & they're usually the people who are least likely to push/shove other people to stay in the front. what kind of an asshole says that a 98 pound chick has to fight a drunken 200 lb gorilla for the front row if they paid the same price for the same ticket? i could understand if it's a punk/hardcore show, but moshing to the strokes is fucking gay.

@Tallukeah He probably can't play bass and sing at the same time since he was the last member of the band to learn his instrument. He had basically just started when they formed the band. When you only learn to play an instrument and don't learn to sing and play at the same time it's nearly impossible to do both simultaneously later on. Especially bass cause it follows its own rhythm. Few musicians can play LEAD instruments and sing at the same time; Billy Corgan and Jimmy Hendrix to name two.

@Tallukeah i only listened to albert hammond jr.'s solo albums which I loved and to Julian Casablancas' solo, which was a little out there for me, but it's mothafucking julian casablancas, so i learned to love it. i know fab did little joy and nik did time of the assasins, and i may have heard one or two songs off of either of those two albums, but i don't remember being very impressed. eventually ill listen to them more.
