  • the 60's meets the 80's by a bunch of guys in their 40's.

  • He was ok ......But he was no JANICE JOPLIN....

  • @Phqoff I really don't think he was trying to be Janice Joplin.......or Grace Slick (the singer for Jefferson Airplane and this song).

    Can u tell me??

  • If you look at the 5th comment below, there is some good info about that :)

  • Excellent cover of a great song. Well done gents!

  • It works! Didnt think a man could pull it off. Probably because he attacks with the the same viogour as Grace Slick in Jefferson Airplane. Excellent job.

  • Thanks for the comment. Lynn Sorensen is the singer. He is one very kind and talented individual. He plays in several very popular local Seattle bands. He also plays bass for the Paul Rogers Band (Bad Company) and tours with them. I'll pass this comment on to him. I know he'll appreciate it.

  • thankyou :D xxx rly good song :p

  • who originally sings this?

  • "Somebody to Love" is a rock song by 1960s folk-psychedelic band The Great Society. It received minimal circulation outside of San Francisco.

It was later also recorded by Jefferson Airplane, their release met with far greater success, peaking at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and also appearing as a track on their album released in February of 1967, Surrealistic Pillow. Rolling Stone ranked Jefferson Airplane's recording #274 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
