Shinn never loved Stella in "that" way. He say her as a wounded soul that reminded him of his sister. He even mentions that he isn't obsessed with her and even let her go with no intention of ever seeing her again if it meant she wasn't forced to fight.

Lunamaria on the other hand had known Shinn for 2 years and they always hung out together while considering themselves best friends. Later Lunamaria figures out she always had Shinn and her feelings for him which he returned.

Kira didn't kill his family it was the federation,plus the reason why kira killed stella was because stella was about to kill shinn,and don't blame kira for killing her,He didn't know that the pilot of the first destroy was shinns GF.

@kevfilms2x2 Actually, Kira DID kill Shinn's family. Watch the first episode of Gundam SEED Destiny very carefully. You'll see that they get caught up in a beam crossfire from Freedom and another Mobile Suit, so technically speaking Kira does take some blame for the deaths of Shinn's family

@kevfilms2x2 It was both. They fired the beams at eachother, and the resulting explosions killed Shinn's family. Kira is partly to blame for the death of Shinn's family. End of story.

You cannot tell me that after losing your family AND your girlfriend to the same person you would NOT be furious and want revenge. Shinn's personality is by far the most realistic of all the characters of Gundam SEED Destiny BECAUSE he acts the way he does. That is what is so interesting about him.

Sure, he didn't mean to, but he still DID IT, regardless of how or why it happened. That is Shinn's train of thought about the event, and it is what most of us would think like as well.

@kevfilms2x2 I just said this. It does not matter if he knew them or not, and you still fail to realise this. Regardless of how Kira did it, he still did it, and that is why I partly blame him. Shinn blames Orb and Cagalli because Orb did nothing to stop the fighting. Orb was a neutral country. And did you even watch most of SEED Destiny? You see the way Shinn looks at the Freedom in the first episode. What happens the next time he sees it? He tries to shoot it down. He does blame Freedom.

@kevfilms2x2 Shinn loved his sister, so he went to get her phone for her. That is what a brother would do for the little sister he cherishes. And Shinn had to choose if he wanted Stella to live or die. If Stella had stayed on the Minerva then she would have died from lack of the drugs she needed to stay alive. He knew that where she came from would be able to treat her and keep her alive. If the person you loved was dying and you had to decide her fate, you'd choose for her to live.
