  • Ash looks soo beautiful even without make up...

    she's gorgeous...

  • The movie is so touching and irresistable due to the nature of the film and it brings out the hidden secrets which not only indian women face but women who are suffering around the world and I thank the cast and crew and script writer all for bringing this movie out and showing the world a darkened horror which thousands of women face and I want to thank all the people who uploaded parts of this film.

    I really love this film.

  • I havn't seen this movie

I remember seeing the trailer on the Shahrukh temptaion concert dvd and I was in tears from the few seconds trailer. I want to see this movie..but don't know if I will be able to watch it...i was in tears just watching this

  • To be honest i really cant stand aishwarya rai, from what i have seen, especially in here interviews she acts stuck up and to proud, possibly to narcassistic for her own good.

But i absoloutly praise her for this movie, she definitly is getting better on her acting skills,. i cant even begin to count how many times i have ried while watchig this movie

  • Look this up on youtube: A Call to Arms: Breaking the Silence!

  • I saw this nazi movie called The Eternal Jew.

Basically it was the same story line only the husband was symbolized by the Jews and the poor defenseless victim was Adolf Hitler.

But in the end, the victim triumphed over the evil one and we were obliged to all feel good about it.

    Still, something didn't seem right.

  • this guy is inhuman/animal

  • The film is called Provoked

  • I really want to see this movie!

  • This film opens our eyes to what is still going on in our world. It devlops such a surge of passion towards secret crimes like domestic violence and marital rape. Anyone who hasnt seen this film is... well incomplete.

  • ash looked soooooo ugly in provoked

  • That's because she wasn't wearing any MAKE UP!

  • When your a victim of domestic abuse and get battered to sleep day in and day out, make up would be the last thing on her mind. Beautiful women get covered in black and blue bruises, as their punishment for being born a women- reinforcing the idea that we still live in a god damn patriacle world! Thats the reality...

  • i am watchin this movie now, was jus wondrin if anoyone knows whether we get to see anything about her married life or do we jus get to see from the prison bit n so on?

  • well i personally think she wntd justice done, _aduwalia) had nofing 2do wid 'rules' back home, but the fact that she lost temper that night, i was greatful for the outcome, al though many wud think extreme, i beleive she was in her rite 2do that, cos in hell, the husband wud have got the equivalent if not worse, or much more, and as for her, thats down 2 god, allah 2 decide..but yeh her husb, was a rite bastard in the film, made me sick 2 the stomach.

  • in ahluwalia here defendant hasbeen convicted for murder dur to her husbands abused's for ten yeras, she was beaten by her husband, and one day she was decided to kill her husband by fireing, there cooling off period has been gone away for long times abused and she has been provoked a lot by husband and killed him,and the defendant charged for murder, but after disclosing his provocation its substitute as a voluntary manslaughter, but she got a defence of diminish responsibility of MUrder....kool

  • maybe... maybe she wanted his money and property (if he was loaded)

  • SHE SEXYSSSSSSSSSSS.

I bet they're all religous zealots.

  • she probably will its about her life so she would make some cash shes probaly some greedy bicth who was money

  • Aishwarya Rai is the world's most beautiful woman!!

  • go to clubs and travel get a life and i am sure u will find better looking indian girls

  • for more info visit southallblacksisters website

  • It's well known that feminazi at Southall Black Sister hijacked the case alright...

As if man who committed murder would be excused on the grounds of "endogenous depression".. I mean, please..

You can give me all the legalese you want; the fact is, the case was manipulated and the woman - guilty of first-degree murder - was let off because she was a woman..

She had the rules made up just for her..

  • "the case was manipulated"

arent they all? many prisoners in the UK are relased very early without serving a full sentence, what's so different about this? Murders and other criminals in the UK all get easy slap on the wrist sentences so why do people expect any different here?

  • "You dont know what someone's been through. Years of abuse could send anyone over the edge."

Maybe so, but it's still murder. She should be thankful she's still alive but should have served the full appropriate term for murder.

  • I once got into an argument with a female friend of mine about battered woman's syndrome. While I can certainly understand why someone would want to do something like this, we cannot, as a society, condone murder. It doesn't matter what sex the murderer is nor do the circumstances change the criminal nature of the act. Anyone who tries to argue that women like Kiranjit Ahluwalia are heroines are sexist bigots.

  • da same night she burn her husband she shoulda just left him

  • iguess I am a sexist bigot then cause he got exactly what he deserved. Watch your father beat your Mom and then talk shit .

  • I did, Callmetricia. One thing my parents did instill in me are Liberal values. You know, based off Liberalism, which demands we're all entitled to certain individual rights? One of those rights is the right to life which this vigilante stole from him. There was nothing admirable or honorable about his murderer's actions. Any support given to her comes from blind bigotry.

  • Gender Bias is tested by gender inversion.

There is this guy who is beaten by her wife, and he finish up burning her after year of abuse.

People will tell me, why did the guy didn't defend himself ? Let just say that the guy for moral reason is unable to do so ?

What do you think now ? Do the guy as the right to burn his wife ? Does the justice would accept a Battered husband syndrome ?

  • Once again, it is a case of women taking all the rights of men, but none of the responsibilities. When women were 'oppressed' in the states, the husband was responsible for any crime his wife committed. It seems this still holds true, even when a woman burns her husband alive.

  • Sabbir86 is condoning murder and talks about alleged beatings. Stupid bitch, you're no better than the murderer in this film.

  • and it's unfortunate that a film with such a biased perspective should be released. Naturally the root injustice started with the judgement of Ahluwalia's case.

Murder is not excusable. Kiranjit Ahluwalia is a murderer who should have paid the price accordingly.

  • MaleRightsNetwork- And what about the beatings, multiple rapes and so forth? That is nothing right? The fucking husband was lucky that he married an Indian instead of western. If I was Kiranjeet I would have hanged him till death and burned him with acid. Compared to that he had a very little punishment. Fuck the law and order.

  • "If I was Kiranjeet I would have hanged him till death and burned him with acid ... Fuck the law and order."

You've just exposed yourself to be a sexist bigot. Your language is truly murderous, and possibly hate speech. Your attitude is very common among females, especially the Western variety. Take note men of the allusions. Many/most Western women are contemptous of men, justice and society. Here's proof.

  • she did...didnt she? she did spend time in jail....u dotn happen to be a woman do u? well unless ure a woman born in those regions u wouldnt understand

  • "u dotn happen to be a woman do u? well unless ure a woman..."

Basically when you say "you don't understand because you aren't a woman", you mean "I deserve female-only privilages and double standards because I am a woman"..

    Justice is justice.

The gender of the victim/perpetrator is irrelevant.

Or are you another one of those women who have contempt for justice and subscribe to the Woman's Constant?

"Women are always right; I am always right"

  • You dont know what someone's been through. Years of abuse could send anyone over the edge.

I'm not saying what she did was right, she could have dialled 999, but maybe that was the only way she could see to end her misery.

  • she was nt released because she's a woman.

"Kiranjit won her appeal on the grounds of diminished responsibility."

"a psychiatric report had not been produced at her trial. The report clearly stated she suffered from endogenous depression."

So the law missed a few points in the first trial. There's no way a judge could get away with letting someone go for being a woman, if that was the case there would be no women in prisons today.

  • Provoked is a very interesting title for this film. It attempts to justify the murdering of a human being in cold blood. Fisidilia said the "Battered Woman's Defence" has been enacted in law to "protect them". "Protect" is the wrong word. It makes them immune to the law against the most capital of crimes, murder. It literally lets them away with murder. No doubt this film will go some way to sensitising people to the idea of legitimising murder if it is a woman.

  • bear in mind she did spend two years or so in jail. ye she had no ryt to kill him but ur preachin abt this n dat ye but u dnt actaully know wt u wud do if u were in that situation. we al say 'i wud do dis n i wud do dat if i was kiran' but its jus bullshit. unless ur the actual person in that sitaution ul never know. and ultimately its al the hands of the Almighty.

  • I agree Timmie Joe this is an outrage.

  • This mental bitch is able to get away with murder because she has a vagina. This is a terrible display of justice. This wacked out chick talked the man into staying with her twice after he left her.

Seemingly, murder in the offensive (abortion, husband, boyfriend or child) is now justified if your a woman. Humanity needs a reality check

  • hell yea! he hit her and she killed him so thic bicth shoulda left him what the fuck is 911 there for!!!

  • Oh well, women are truely weak.

  • This murdering bitch should never have been made into a ''heroine'' as she is anything but. And people here need to read the TRUTH about misandry in our society. Go and read Angry Harry, Fred X and Eternal Bachelor. And also read other MRA bloggers (listed on their links).

  • I agree with mathewskarl.

This movie makes me want to vomit.

  • An eye for an eye is one thing - blatant cold murder is not an eye for an eye.

Women now can murder their husbands - and use the 'get out of jail free' card by accusing him of abuse. Naturally, he isn't there (because he's somewhat devoid of life) to defend against the accusation - whether it be true, or not.

As for the bias and extremely exaggerated settings this film portrays - it would be better suited under 'fiction'.

  • what a gay story.. "women's suffrage.. wah wah wah.. boo hoo.. boo hoo." STFU BITCHES

  • Women's suffrage? Actually, its not about a woman's right to vote(look suffrage up in the dictionary). If you're going to deride something, do it with intelligence so people take you seriously. Honestly. Of course, its people with that sort of attitude that promotes this kind of thing.
