  • These are fantastics shots...how could I get in touch with you in regards to possibly using the footage for a TV show?

  • I muted the video and then played the song Blackout by Muse and it worked PERFECTLY great video by the way!

  • The Witch Fire was in far more open ground by comparison. Nice try.

  • Except the angeles national forest is at a higher altitude, so there's higher wind gusts. Add in the low humidity, high temps, and rough terrain, and you have a wildfire spreading like crazy that is near impossible to contain

  • yea, because there was nothing left to burn!

  • Das sieht schon sehr schlimm aus

  • woh

  • Very beautiful vid, looks like something that could be shown at Discovery any day now.

I don't get the bird sounds in the end though..

  • well i m not in the creator's mind but i guess the bird sounds were imported to emphasize the impact of the catastrophe and make us think what we re losing everytime a wildfire occurs

  • I like this vid, it's cool...really cool....well I think it is....is that a kind comment?

  • great vid, thanks for posting! yep, 1:35-1:40 is creepy looking..like a burning man or something..

  • yeah, I saw the fire "man" and had to tape it. Thanks.

  • Really nice video!!!!! But look @it when its @1.35 min to 1.40 min... That shizzle is crazy!!!!!!!!! It looks like a Freakin DEvil..

    OR a eVil rabbit.

  • Great shots!

  • Why is this called 'station' fire?

  • Because it began near the Angeles Crest Ranger Station, off Angeles Crest Highway.''

  • I agree...nice work!

  • damn i live all they way in Santa Fe Springs right next to the 5 freeway and i can see bright orange spots in the mountains. It doesn't move at all. Its so big and so far away that its just a spot its crazy. I hope the fire fighters can put em out.

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome film. Pro stuff. Great story telling.

  • Gave me the creeps..

Let s face it.. our grandchildren will live in a world with no forests

Grettings from Greece(which also suffered from wildfires in 2007 and 2009)

    ps.Music of the video?

  • damn nice.. i live in by Six Flags CAlifornia dont think we will get evacuated here.

  • Thank you for the kind comments. -k

  • The images and sounds evoke not only a contemporary hellish earthly inferno but also a preview of what is to come later this century as the earth's atmosphere heats up - unless we change our way of life. On that cheery note - Best, Sam

  • Now this is real, pristine footage of the wildfires as they rage and are attacked. Excellent portrayal for the outsider, such as poor me in Wisconsin. Thank you for the quality videography. (I downloaded it for future reference...)

  • Thank you for the kind comments. -k
