What are we supposed to be seeing here? Clouds floating through the sky?!

It's not just clouds moving through the sky, it's actually a ripple in the atmosphere that causes the clouds to move in this way because of changes in gravity. Undular bores are often associated with some pretty serious weather patterns and can do things like turn a small twister and turn it into an F5 tornado.
