well 2 strokes have the powerband so they can accelerate faster but 4 strokes can turn corners faster and climb hills better than 2 strokes so they both r good

not true you can get a cr 125 to do 105. the key is in the sprocket. taking odd will be about as sluggish as a 50cc 4 stroke but you can do it. they go 60-70 with close to stock sprockets. a bigger rear tire and change rear sprocket. no problem.

got to love the 2-strokes. its a shame that most companies have stopped making them. yeah the 4-strokes are bad ass bikes and are a blast to ride. but with a 2-stroke they just have their own feeling. they are just super light, very flick able, and just a blast to ride. plus maintenance on them is super easy and some what quick.

@Frankinater216 you can make a cr do 105 yeah i would take some work to but not that much. mainly you would just have to gear the bike right. now it may take you a little while to get up to 100mph but with the correct gears its possible.

we put an athena 144 big bore kit on my brothers kx125 we just finished breaking it in he goes down the street 1 st gear cruse 2nd cruise 3rd gets in it cums up then shifts to 4th back down then right before 5th it starts to stand up again no mods only a 144 kit no cluth or puling up some bikes have it and some dont

They both have their Pros and Cons, 2 stroke pros- great on the track, fast acceleration, very light, and cheap to re build the engine._ Cons- Pistons melt/blow top ends easly, not very fun riding long long distances, cant pin them too long.

@99MiamiDolphins99 4 stroke Pros- great for long trail rides, dont blow up often unless raced, i'v noticed them to last longer than 2 strokes (just my experiances with them), even power, lots and lots of torque ;), Cons- expensive as hell to fix if something inside the engine is wrong for example- blown pistone-crank shaft-cams-cylander wall, also you can pin them for what feels like a mile or 2. but overall 2 strokes and 4's are both amazing bikes, depending on the sizes and brands you buy ;)

WTF?/ my 125 has every mod in the book like a 134 kit, port and polish, fmf full system, and a k&n. And it only wheelies with clutch and wont come up in 5th. Were you using clutch? Whats wrong with my bike? The 134 only has like 8 hours on it.
