An f1 engine cost aroun 500,000 to 900,000 dollars to produce but millions to enginer and flames in an engine are preaty but it just means that it isont correctly tuned and isint burning fuel properly inside the chamber and insted its burning it in the exhaust .. Generaly this is only used for warm-up

from what i am aware formula 1 engines sound like that on start up until a switch of somekind is flicked an it's when it's ready. Very very complex machines.

that engine isnt gonna blow. those engines can take so much strain. the guys only revving it to maybe 1300, when it can go to 20000. people dont know what they were talking about saying that it's gonna blow
