  • two more guys and you would be hitting that thing 4 times per second

  • i would love to learn how to do this!!!

  • throw down boys

    beat on it

    like ya mean it ...

  • Your Striker hits like a fairy and stop using a 10lb sledge, get a 12 of 14lb on it.

  • fun fact, that is a 12 lbs hammer (the largest one we had in the shop) no need for anything larger, especially for where we were in the process, the majority of the heavy moving was done. when this video was made were are also relatively inexperienced, having only learned striking less than a year prior, so anything larger could be dangerous and in efficient. what can't be seen is that it was probably 115+ degrees (charleston, sc in august) and we had been working on it for several hours

  • Who needs to pay for therapy when all you need to do is pound on red hot steel?

  • So when does "power hammers are so over rated 4" come out.... and does it come out on X-box 360???? lol

  • Why isn't the chap on the left using a real hammer?

  • the hammer is real enough. but he is not the one really moving the metal, he is only indicating where I (on the right) need to strike

  • now that was funny!!

  • You need one more guy.

  • yeah unfortunately it was just the two of us in class otherwise we would have

  • lol new dance move

  • For getting work done - Power hammer.

For having lots of fun, can't beat a sopping great sledge hammer. :D

  • elbow tendonitis is also overrated...

  • I doubt you could have kept that tempo for much longer. Power hammers may be over-rated, but they don't get tired! Good work though. What were you making?

  • yes we could have, we ran out of heat first. but i hope you realize the title is sarcastic. we were working on a heel bar for a large bracket

  • I think you should at least talk about what your making or something like that or make the video long enough to see how the piece your working on turns out! :(
