Those other relgions might have never heard the gospel and they live good righteous lives feeling sorry for sin and seeking forgiveness God will give it to them He is full of grace there will be a lot of good muslims in heaven etc

We don't all serve the same God. I love Alan and his music, but gphotons is correct on this one. I'm sure Alan means well and if he is a Christian he needs to study up on this one. @gphotons From a biblical standpoint, you're essentially correct. The trick for the follower of Christ is to disagree when necessary without being disagreeable. That said, it's certainly a lot easier to believe that there are many paths to Heaven rather than just one. You certainly would get in far less trouble with that viewpoint, but in the final analysis, it's always better to believe and obey God rather than men.

People need to stop judging & throwing stone & starting loving one another. the point of the song is that we all share this planet & are united in that. Plus, some Christians would say that God created everyone & loves them all, whether they know it or not. @gphotons These posts are so short--however I do agree with John 3:16--Only those who believe in Christ as their savior will not perish but have everlasting life with the Father in Heaven. This is true. I only wanted to point out that no matter our beliefs, status, or criminal record, we as human beings and creations of the One True God are His children even with our sinful nature. @gphotons John 3:16 does not state that we are not all God's children. In 1 John chapter "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are god's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared." 1 John 3:1-2a. John is writing this letter to non-believers, as are most of the books in the New Testament. He speaks to ALL sinners: aka ALL of us.
