I only know the chorus and it goes like this "Lah, lah lah lah lah lah, lah lah lah lah lah lah. Its sounds very 80's and the singer sounds similar to this lead singer. Sounds like soul too. thanks.

  • Always played at the end of "Discos" , yes that's what they were called in the 80's. Us ladies used to wonder who would ask us to dance, to the last 4-5 smoochies (Slow dances of the night) Braintree Essex, The Late Parrot and The Barn were my favourate hangouts. So many times I danced to this classic love song at the time.

  • Such a trippy happy song. What a CLASSIC!! ;)

  • Oh! And by the way. The song is about what you want it to be about. I Know what it means for me and it doesn't involve drugs.

  • This song is incredible! Even if its the only Song Fat Larry's Band is remembered for, What a song! I would give anything to pen a song like this. It takes me straight back to the first time I heard it. Beautiful summers morning in the early 80's it was a friday morning before school. It got me through the day

  • @AusBeatle It's funny. I like it now, but it takes me back to snuggling under the covers in winter, and really not wanting to get up for school.

  • @columbocure Amazing how a song can create a different atmosphere for each person. You think of winter! I think of summer! Music is such a personal thing. Very very powerful. A song can make or break your day. I hope it made your day.

  • @AusBeatle- I remember when it was a friday & the weekend was close, shame it doesn't mean so much now when you're all grown up..........

  • @AusBeatle You're damn right. I can hear this song over and over again without getting bored. Keep up the goodlife, and n-joy every single day.

  • @krakenwave I wouldn't know about either experience haha - I just remember when I was a kid there was a big thing in the papers about it being about heroin

  • @gummygobbler1

Maybe sometime in that far-distant future, long after the tooth fairy gives you your new big-boy retainer-style teeth (but well before they start falling out again, which happens sometime after your hair does the same), maybe then you'll get to find out and have lots of wodnerful zoom experiences of your own.

  • my Uncle is the guy singing lead on Zoom! he is very much alive and on EVERY ALBUM Cover as well... "FAT" Larry is dead YES! but Fred Campbell is very much alive.. and HE is singing lead on this song....

  • @sexynera17 He's one talented guy. Awesome vocals.

  • @sexynera17 I've always loved this song, a truely great number. Where has real music gone these days?

  • @sexynera17 Is that true?

  • @sexynera17 Why do people always claim that their UNCLES are part of something?

  • @sexynera17 Liar.

  • @Peppepoppldoppl why do i have to lie about my uncle being a member of a band to YOU? i dont know you from adam, I was happy and proud to see the video and commented on it.. you can assume what you want ( and we both know what assuming does) let me ask this- how is it that you KNOW i am lying? Do you know him? Do you know where he is right now? can YOU pick up the phone and call him?

I can answer YES to ALL of the above questions.... have a great weekend

  • @sexynera17 I don't assume. I am fully aware of reality and I don't go around falling for idiotic liars on the web. Now you tell me, why should anyone believe YOU? Why should I believe YOU? When I already know your situation to the bone?

  • I love this record.

  • I have to say the lead singer if this group is my uncle(Fred Campbell)..Married to my aunt for over 30 years...and he can still blow!!!

  • @sexynera17 I thought he was dead.
