They destroyed male athletic programs that people had interest in watching and brought revenue, dooming the U.S. Olympic prospects in several male sports for title nine bullshit. Even self-supporting male Gymnastics, soccer etc had to shut down so a bunch of sub-bar athletes can play. If a sport has no sizable fan base and no chance of getting the National anthem played in international competitions, it should be self supporting or not exist at all.

@ibmsony101 There is nothing called male sport. Each sport can be played by both, female and male. We female were not born to stay at home washing your laundry and cleaning your dishes. We have the right to have fun and to play a sport that we like and prove that we can do what you do. Scientifically, a women's body has not the equal strength and body type as mens but thats doesn't forbid any woman to exercise the sport she like. Look at them playing rugby, doesn't they look so happy? :)

All I said that American college Athletic programs that are self supporting had to be close to comply with title 9 so that unwatchable, unprofitable and unpopular women team sports (like Rugby) could be stood up. This is hurting the US Olympic chances. It is undeniable that men naturally gravitate toward athletic pursuits as participants and fans in rates far far higher than women. It is therefore unjust to have an imposed 50-50 split.

@tamtamtoto09 I am all for fair treatment and everything, but lets be realistic there are more guys that play sports than girls...in my area every high school has a boys hockey team that cometes locally, while my sister has to play on a travel hockey team sometimes needing to travel 200 miles for a game. And I find it rather odd that in hockey them men are able to hit while the women arent...

i dont mind training with girls at all some of them are a lot more aggressive than me and scare me sometimes..... but in a game it easy to get caught up and shit happens not all the time but it does i personally would take it to heart if i take out a girl.

@The12gogirl because as sexist as it may seem alot of girls wouldnt mind playin with guys, but alot of guy would. Not because we think were better or anything, but because we (at least I) would feel uncomfaortable smashng fulll sprint into a 5'3 teenage girl. Im not huge into sexualy segrigation when it comes to sports, but it does have reasons. Thereare guys on our local team who are 6'5, and weigh 275 pounds. I think most of the game woud be spent worring about the safety of the female players
