I personally find it useless when people constantly argue whether she has learned dancing solely by observation, or by attending schools, for only one thing is important: THAT SHE CAN DANCE LIKE A PRO!!! Just look at how much energy, how much oomph, and fierceness she's integrating into her spirited performance!!! It feels as though to her character in the film, dance is her evening, her morning, her food, and her water; she cannot live without her dance by her side, as a dedicated danseuse!!!!
I cannot incorporate into my description any more to what my lovely Sridevi fans all over this site have claimed for years: that even when Sridevi dances, SHE ACTS!!! The underlying logic behind such a claim is that her sequences and performances are simply so powerful, and so ahead in years, that she does not dance as Sridevi the person, rather the character she's portraying. Her eyes, her lips, her every move speak their own story, as do her facial expressions and enthusiasm showcased.
What makes a Sri film even more mesmerizing and an even greater work of art, is when she spoils the audience with her brilliant dance sequences. She's simply a marvel on the dance floor with her exquisite and unique style of dancing, justifying once again why I call her "happy feet":) I have granted her the title since she exudes energy and a feeling of joy and happiness throughout her every move, every dance step, in turn providing us with a power-packed and intense-full performance her way!!!!

Bhratnatyam (FEW STEPS) can be learned in a SINGLE day! If you are a freeking good dancer NATURALLY, you can learn any step in this entire world in one day! Obviously this entire song is not a performance in single stretch..she should have practised for each shot but you can give a feel of a professional dancer. All great dancers need not be trained, you tell them do this, they do it beautifully..no prior training. Same with acting..a good actor just need that programing in mind, he will perform
