Ray went after anyone and everyone even if he knew hed lose the fight. notice when ray fights, he sheds all the equipment he can. notice linden keeps his helmet on. rob ray is the enforcer people want on their team for that fact, he gets the crowd up which in turn gets the players motivated.

@metarika2 pests have been around forever. Pretty much every team in the NHL has one. Your supposed to hate them unless they play for your team. Odjick ran Hasek so barnaby ran Burke. Nothing wrong with that. Then Hasek was taken out of the net and Steve Shields came in. Shields and Burke fought. Pretty normal events that lead to a brawl by NHL standards.

I hate pests, even when they're on my team, and I think there is something wrong with running a goalie to begin with, but if that happens, I'd rather see the runner pummeled by 2 or 3 guys rather than go after the other goalie. And you saw how well that turned out for Barnaby :)

@metarika2 oh ok i get what ur saying now...well when odjick first ran hasek a couple guy went after him and a scrum resulted. Odjick was out for the game after that so of course the sabres responded appropriately by running Burke. Barnaby was ok, a few noogie shots to the side of the helmet aren't enough to phase the guy. Not a mark on him. He was a smiling maniac. Too brave for his own good and it forced him into retirement. The guy had balls though, you can't take that away from him.

Then later, (another vid of this game) during this wild game they pulled Hasek and put in Steve Shields who is always ready and willing to fight.. You can imagine what happens next :P
